Mark's POV

I waited outside the school until the bell rang. I watched as the storm clouds roll in. It was never a pleasant sight whenever I saw the darkness, or looked at my reflection in the mirror. You see, there is this person, a twin of myself kinda, that has and keeps that darker part of me on the downlow. And that's just one of my problems that I have to face. Others include trying to be calm at the most frustrating times, and if I can't do that then I make sure no one else is around. Although the worst part is that I have to hide it away from anyone. My parents, the school, the district, even my best friend, Sean (Jack), which I've hated to do everything since I meet him. But those are just a few of my issues I guess.

"Mark!" Sean yelled as he ran toward the dark-haired man. Mark looked up from his study guide and gave Sean a small smile. "Hey man you ready for the final exam in class?" Sean asked. Mark nodded, he opened his mouth to speak but instead came the bell. Sean laughed a little the nodded his head toward the door. Mark nodded and they both went into their class.

"So Jack what'd you think of the test?" Mark asked. Jack shrugged his shoulders in response.

"Didn't really feel like a final exam, just felt like all the other things we've tooken." Jack answered. Mark nodded his head in agreement. "But on the bright side it's spring break. We've got a week and a half to do whatever crazy shit we want to do. So I say we hang out at my place play a few video games, wait until we meet up with Felix and the guys to go to the party that Wade's having and maybe have a few words with the girls." Jack implied as he nudged at Mark's side with his elbow. Mark only laughed and came to a stop at the double doors.

"Eh maybe you're right." Mark said.

"Aren't I always?" Jack asked making Mark turn to Jack. Not realizing that they were only inches apart. Jack blushed a deep red until he turned away. He pulled the strap of his book bag over his shoulder and exited the building, Mark not to far behind.

"Jack where are you going? Are you alright?" Mark asked him worryingly. Jack only shook his head.

"N- no I'm fine, just got a little too uncomfortable." Jack answered, knowing Mark didn't believe it for a second.

"Jack please tell me what's wrong. You're my best friend and I don't want to see you like this. You how much I hate it when you're sad." Mark pleaded. Jack couldn't find the words to say. He didn't want Mark to know about his 'condition'.

"Mark I'm sorry I just can't tell you, at least, not right now." Jack responded. Mark noddef.

"Will it be soon, though?" Mark asked and Jack nodded. "Alright well I say we go to your house and wait till about 8. How's that sound?" Mark asked.

"That sounds good. If you want we can stop by the café down the street?" Jack suggested, causing Mark to nod. They headed down the street hoping to get there faster than the rain would get them. Once they got there Jack took a seat and Mark went to go order.

"Hi, what can I get for you?" The waitress asked. Mark looked at the menu and replied when he was finished reading.

"Uhh, hi can I get a medium black coffee with a small amount of sugar and another medium black coffee with four cups of cream?" Mark asked kindly. The girl nodded, filled out the sheet of paper, and gave him a number. "Thanks." She nodded and went to the back. Mark stepped away from the line of people and sat across from Jack.
