His lungs are on fire. His chest is burning, spreading, rushing the buzz through his veins until his entire being is consumed. He drops to the floor, his knees colliding painfully to the compacted dirt stuffed into the Earth. A hand of bone emerges from the darkness, long black nails sprouting out a foot in length towards the man.

His mouth stretches wide, a silent scream emitting from between his pink lips as the nails enter him, shoving down into his throat, creating a rip down the front of his neck. The skin separates, red licorice blood pouring from the wound.

The hand moves further down his throat until it clenches around his heart, the organ pulsing under his hand.

"Louis!" The scream is torn from my throat as he tries to scream out, his arms constricted with wire behind him. His blue eyes widen with fear, tears falling rapidly in little streams down his porcelain pale cheeks.

I reach out for him, but something cuts painfully into the delicate skin stretched over my wrist. My hands cannot move from behind my torso, my body tight and tense, the muscles in my shoulders knotted in all sorts of ways.

"Louis!" I scream out for him, my hair flopping into my eyes, diverting my vision as the hand pulls up, covered with ruby red blood up to its elbow.
