Summer 2011
I don't think I have ever felt so nervous in my entire fifteen years of living.
Not even when I had my first English GCSE exam and I hadn't revised. I'd literally walked into the exam hall with a blank mind with barely any knowledge on the INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT exam.
Not even when I played Gabriella in my first school play in Year 9 and I had to sing and dance around the stage in front of the WHOLE school; and I can't even fricking sing! (Or dance). Now, you're probably wondering how and why I was chosen to play Gabriella (the main character!!!) if I can't even sing, or why I auditioned for a musical in the first place. Well that's the thing, I was told if I auditioned and received even a tiny non-important role, I would gain extra credit. I was simply appointed the stage director. However, little did I know that Amy Jenkins would trip on a plastic tree, fly off the considerably high stage, and break her leg. Like seriously? When I whispered to her 'break a leg' I didn't mean it literally!!!!
So then, in cane her understudy, Rebecca Jamieson (bitch), who then threw up the day before the play was to be performed (the bitch). No one else knew Gabriella's lines and we were oh so desperate. The play was about to be called off and rescheduled, much to everyone's delight, until Rebecca decided to mention that seeing as I was the stage director, I knew the lines word for word. Oh she was evil. And that is the short and horrific tale of how I ended up playing Gabriella Montez.
Anyway, I have completely gone off the topic as to why I was silently drowning in my nerves. (No exaggeration I swear. I suffer from severe nerves, who doesn't?)
It had been almost two years since I'd been on Irish soil and almost two years since the night on the beach.
Today, we were heading back to Dublin for the summer holidays.
Today, I was finally seeing Niall.

A/N. This chapter was slightly pointless and boring but it was basically a filler chapter and I needed something to lead on to the next chapter.
