Jeydon's POV
"You've been in the bathroom for hours. Let me in!" My brother growled and I rolled my eyes. He is so inpatient. He knows how much I love my hair. "Get out now or I will tell mom that you are sending love letters to your History teacher."
"It was a joke!"
"Mr. Griffin is gay Jeydon. That's wrong."
"What is so bad about being gay?" I asked opening the door. My brother is well fit. He is a year older than me and he is the popular guy at our school. It's so ironic. I stared at my older brother and he started to think. "Tell me one think about a gay person that you don't like."
"They like it up the butt. That's just wrong."
My brother isn't one of those mean homophobic people but I know for sure that he'll kill me once he figures out that I am gay.
Yeah. I like guys. My first gay crush was on Tommy Williams. He wasn't gay or bi but I did tell him that I like him in fifth grade. His parents sent off to boarding school for punching me in the face. It hurt me but I soon forgot about him and moved onto a new crush. And that crush, was my older brother's best friend.
I know what you're thinking. That's so irrelevant. Well, he's hot. I don't like him anymore because he is my brother's best friend and I was young. "Jeydon! Are you gay?" my brother asked.
"Me? No. I just care about my hair and dress in skinny jeans for fun." I tell him and he shook his head.
"You are a weird kid, you know that?" He asked me and I chuckled.
"Yeah." I say leaving the bathroom. I walked into my bedroom and grabbed my backpack off my dresser. I headed out my room and bumped into my brother. He shook his head and moved out of the way. I started walking down the steps until my mom stopped my and kissed my cheeks.
"I made your lunch for you sweetie."
"Thanks mommy." I say with a smile and checked the time. Declan is always late. I guess I'll be walking to school then.
I walked out of the house and made my way down the street. We don't get busses because our house is closer to school and it would be very stupid to waste gas because of how close we are but it's very far when you are walking. I should've took the car.
I walked past Audrey's house and frowned. My best friend is home. I need a ride! It's so cold out here. I can't even believe it''s winter. I should've brought a coat with me. At least it's not snowing. Now that would be great.
Oh look, a penny on the road. It's shiny! I ran on the road and picked up the penny. It's so brand new and clean. You don't see those everyday.
A loud stretching heard from behind. My heart beat stopped as I turned to look. " Arrghhhhh…," I screamed with all my heart my heart and I can tell that fell right in front the motorcycle down the road.
The motorcycle stopped before it could hit me. I closed my eyes. No, don’t hit me.
"Gosh, you’re so lucky that nothing happen to my motorcycle," said a voice with a relief tone. A guy voice. So it was a ‘he’. I opened my eyes and rubbed it to get a better view.
Standing in front of me was a tall guy with a broad shoulder. He was towering me. I looked up at him and saw him wearing a white polo t-shirt and a dark blue jeans. His face was covered by a helmet, only his eyes that I can see. He has a gray with a bit of green eyes and it was so beautiful. It reminds me of someone. I can tell that he was handsome too with a thick eyebrow and eye lashes and I am jealous with that. I have to wear an eyeliner and mascara to get that effect! Suddenly I felt something at my left arm. Blood!
"What the hell, you hit me, man!," I snapped back. "Oh my gosh. Is my hair okay?"
"Was it my fault? It’s yours. Dude, use the pedestrian walk if you’re walking…," he advised. Then he goes on…lecturing me about why the planner made the pedestrian way, how does it cost, how long it take to finish and how to use it. It was so boring! Hey, I know how to use it!"Are you finished? Stop babbling!" I shouted at him and started to gather all my stuff. Suddenly, I saw his hand beside me. Did he try to help me? " I don’t need your help. Move away," I said as I pushed his hand and with books full in my hand in both my hands, I stand up.
"No, I was…," he stepped closer to me and I rolled my eyes to him.
"Don’t say a word unless an apology,"
"No way,"
"Fine then, move from my way," I said as I pushed him and walked straight to school.
I ignored him when he calls me and I also heard him say the word ‘no way’. Ughh…this guy was so terrible! But maybe he regrets it and want to ask for an apology…that’s too late! Keep it to yourself."Keep it to yourself!," I said it aloud but I didn’t turn to face him. I hope to never see that guy ever again.
