*Your POV*
This was it. My first official day at Beacon Hills. I've only ever been to Beacon Hills a couple of times in my life, but only for about three or four days when I went there in the summer. I usually came to visit my cousin Stiles Stilinski.
I've lived in California my whole life (for 17 years to be exact). I'm originally from San Francisco. I love living in California. And San Francisco is so amazing and beautiful. I love walking around the streets, either by myself or with a small group of friends. The attractions are just amazing. It's always really cool seeing the Golden Gate Bridge, going to some Giants games, and every once in a while, my parents and I would go to Chinatown for dinner. San Francisco is a great city to live in, but I sadly have to leave it for a while, and come to Beacon Hills.
Don't get me wrong, I love coming here to visit my cousin, but I never thought I'd every actually live here. I've heard about the supernatural creatures that lurk in the woods there, but I never believed it. Sure I guess I believe in werewolves, but none of that stuff is real, right? It's all fictional myths.
I'm gonna miss San Fran, it's my home. But Beacon Hills is going to soon be known as my second home. Only because I have to live here for about a year. That is because my parents are away on vacation. And I'm actually kind of glad I get to live here because I get to see Stiles again. I haven't seen him in a year now. I miss him so much. We're really close, we practically grew up together. He's like the twin brother I never had.
I also get to see my best friend Lydia Martin. I met her through Stiles. We have a lot in common, and ever since we exchanged phone numbers, we would text each other nonstop, but we never got to meet each other in person before. Other than not being able to meet her, we're very close, and I'm so thankful she's in my life.
A little while after they started dating, he officially introduced me to her, through FaceTime. At the time neither myself of Stiles could meet up, so I decided to FaceTime him one night, and find out she's his girlfriend! She's honestly the best thing that has ever happened to Stiles, and I'm so happy for him. They're so cute together. I ship them so hard. (YES STYIDA! FIGHT MEEE!!)

It's August 29th, and it's my first day at Beacon Hills High. I'm so nervous, yet excited at the same time. I can't wait to make some new friends. And of course, check out the lacrosse players, especially Stiles' best friend, Scott McCall.
I've heard about Scott, but I never actually meet him before. When Stiles and I would hang out, Stiles would talk about him a lot. I always wondered what it would be like to finally meet him.
As I walk through the school doors with Stiles, I can feel everyone's eyes on me. I look down at my outfit, to make sure I look alright. I have on a striped shirt, a black skirt, white converse, and my Marvel bag. My hair is in a fishtail braid.

    "You look fine

"You look fine. Everyone's looking at you just because you're new. Don't worry about it. I'll take you to the office so you can get your schedule." Stiles says.
"Thanks Stiles. You always know how to comfort me." I say.
"Your welcome. And you know, it's kinda my job. I'll always look out for you, no matter what." He says.
I just smile at my cousins response. As I follow Stiles to the office, I notice that everyone goes on with their business, not paying attention to me anymore, which I was very happy about.
I get my schedule and the principle was about to ask Stiles to show me around. But as you both turn around, you realize that Stiles is gone.
"Don't worry about him sweetheart, he just wanted to get to his first period class. I understand that he didn't want to leave you here all by yourself, but his teacher is strict about being late to class. I had a feeling that Stiles would most likely do that, so I called down one of the best students in the junior class, to show you around. I'll take you to her. She's probably just waiting outside." The principal says.
I walk out the principal's door and see a familiar strawberry blonde. Lydia!
"Ms. (Y/L/N) this is..." the principal starts to say but I cut him off by running to Lydia's arms.
"LYDIA! OH MY GOD! I'VE MISSED YOU!!!!" I yell as I hug her tightly.
"I KNOW! I MISS YOU TOO Y/N!!" Lydia says.
"So I'm guessing you already know each other. Well that's good. Your first day Y/N, and you already know two people. Your cousin and a friend that you've met before. Hope you can find every class that you have today. And if you need any help with finding anything, just ask Lydia or stop by my office. Now you have a nice day girls." The principal says.
"Ok, can I see your schedule? I'll show you around where you need to go for the week. And then if you want, I can show you where the library is, and things like that." Lydia says.
"Ok that sounds great. I'm so glad that I know someone here other than Stiles. I'm not very good at making new friends." I say.
"Yeah, but everyone's like that when they're new to a school. And you NEED to sit by me at lunch. We gotta catch up on how your day was." Lydia says.
"Ok I will. And I'll be sure to let you in on the scoop." I say, then giggle a bit after my response. The scoop just means if there's any cute guys in my classes. And of course, Lydia being Lydia, always gives me great love advice.❤️
*TIME SKIP TO LUNCH*
I exit the lunch line with my tray of food, looking for Lydia. I was almost about to go sit at a table, all by myself, when I spot her approaching me. Which is what I was really great full for.
"Hey I didn't see you at first. I almost thought that maybe you forgot about me sitting with you." I say as I follow her to the table she was just sitting at moments before.
"I would never do that to my best friend. Sorry I probably should have waiting for you closer to the end of the lunch line, but I wanted to get a seat. I just sat here waiting for you to be done with getting your food." Lydia says, taking a seat. I take one across from her. "So, give me the scoop." she says.
I blush slightly, and look down at my food for a second before looking back up at her. "I haven't seen any. I've just mainly been focused on my work and everything. Lame, I know. But I don't care, I'm just waiting till lacrosse practice." I reply, smirking at her.
"Ohhhh, so you wanna check out the lacrosse players huh? Well, just so you know, I've heard that one already has eyes for you." Lydia says, winking at me.
"Are you serious? I only know one person on the team and that's Stiles. How did happen?" I reply.
"Well, let's just say that a little birdie told the guy about you. And he thinks your beautiful." She says.
"Really?! Wow. I kinda wanna find out who this mysterious guy is now." I say as I take a bite of my hamburger.
"Oh you will, don't worry." Lydia says, also taking a bite from her salad.
