Prelude.

Mist swirled about the damp ground, giving new light to the forest floor as dawn rose from the peaks from the Dewden Mountains. Soon the Swallows would be busy singing and the buzz of bees would soon sing. Though in the Dewden Forest something was about to begin.

"Master I'm sure of it, the map indicates that the portal is to the east Kayther towards East Pack Village." A faint fluttering sound could be heard after the voice had spoken.

The voice came from a Kamii (Ka-my) one of many spirits of the Realm, this one happens to go by the name Aurora, the spirit of Protection. In her current form she stands about a foot tall, although don't let her size fool you.

Aurora batted away her Dark amber hair from her eyes and stroked her russet tail, her fur also russet save for her white belly and under muzzle. She then turned her attention to behind her looking in to the deep blue eyes of her master.

"If your certain Aurora, then i shall trust your judgment although i do not remember the seer in Kayther saying anything about heading towards East Village." He spoke raising his free hand, adorned in soft white fur, for Aurora to rest on.

"If you could change forms that would be most helpful, little friend." He spoke again softly gently throwing her into the air.

Aurora began spinning rapidly into a tight ball suddenly bursting into mist which fell like snow to the ground, the particles began swirling upwards to about five feet and began to form together into a human like figure which flicked its hair out of the way from its jade green eyes.

"Hmm, yes much better I can all ready sense the presence of the portal, I pray to Solaris that this is what we need to do Master Therain ." She spoke looking to her master, his orange fur striking against the sunlight.

Therain flicked his tail to the left shaking the chill from the dawn off of him, as he did this he tightened the leather hilt which held his massive sword off the ground and began following his familiar with a faint smile.

"We all hope. But the seer has spoken we need a Savior and this man should be our Salvation... even if he is from the past." He said taking massive strides towards his target.

Therain traversed the forest with ease standing almost seven feet tall getting around on foot was much faster than by horse and of course if he needed more speed it was faster on all fours.

"Yes but Master, we are not even sure if this man will be able to help us, he is human." Aurora said, walking along side her master.

"Aye, but we have exhausted all other options and we are now out of time, this is our only choice." Therain said.

Holding up a small cloudy glass ball to right about his eye level, the cloudiness cleared quickly showing the face of a Human in his mid twenties walking down the street with strange tubes snaking there way up to his ears.

"This human is one of us in spirit and that is all that matters, he may not have been breed with Kitsune but he has the heart and burning spirit of one, we need his help, I trust in the seer's decision that is why we must find this man with haste."

"But we don't even have a name Master." Aurora spoke moving some brush away and ducking under a fallen tree into a small clearing.

In the clearing stood a tall stone arch about 50 feet in height and 20 feet long. Moss and overgrowth tangled its way up the cobblestone pieces almost covering it.Therain placed a gentle paw to Aurora's chest pushing her aside.

"Allow me little one." He said raising his paw to the arch, the wind suddenly began to stir and his fur seemed to flow like ocean waves, his eyes closed as he inhaled, he exhaled through his mouth opening his eyes and pushing his paw forward.
