The moment I looked up, he was already staring at me. He was with a group of about 10 people. He was wearing a black t shirt which revealed his arms. Whenever I had seen him before, he had long sleeves on. Now I realised that he had tattoos trailing all over his arms. His hair was in a straight quiff again, he was actually really hot. His friends were exactly the same, covered in tattoos and piercings.
"Beth?" I heard Liam call.
"Yeh, sorry I zoned out"
"Do you know him?" he asked in a concerned tone of voice.
"No she doesn't, but she wishes she did" Ava joked.
"No I do not!" I almost shouted as I felt my cheeks heating up.
The guy walked into the restaurant with his friends and over to a table which was next to ours. Great. Now I'm gonna feel awkward if he keeps looking over at me.
"Well I hope you don't. He looks dangerous. Just stay away from him" Liam said in a stern voice, but I was hardly paying attention. Liam gradually placed his hand around my waist, but I wasn't really paying attention.
Through the rest of the dinner, I could feel the tattooed guys eyes on me the entire time. I tried not to look over, but when I did, he was just staring at me and he would give me a small mischievous smile. I could feel myself blush whenever he smiled, so I quickly turned away.
When we finished our meal, we headed back to the dorms. As we were walking out of the restaurant, I dared to look back one more time at the guy and surprise, surprise he was looking at me already. Liam seemed to notice and tightened hi grip around my waist. Liam walked us back to ours and then walked to his.
The next few days were quite boring, it mainly consisted of getting used to the University and getting to know everyone else.
On Friday evening, I told Ava that I was going out to some shops and she didn't feel too good, so I went by myself.
I had been in 5 shops and had bought a few new tops and one dress when I started to feel tired. I went to sit at a bench for a little bit.
After about 10 minutes, I felt someone sit down next to me. It startled me and I was quite hesitant to look up. I was hoping it wasn't the tattooed guy, I didn't want to have to talk to him.
I slowly lifted my head and took in the sight in front of me. Black skinny jeans, a white top with the sleeves rolled up to show his tattoos and when I looked at his face, guess who? Thats right, the guy with the tattoos.
He gave me a small smile which I returned. His smile seemed to make him even more irresistible.
"Hey" he said.
"Um... Hi?" My reply came out more like a question. I could feel a blush creeping onto my cheeks. Why was I even blushing? I had only replied to him.
"Where are your friends? Are you here alone?"
"They were busy" I didnt want to elaborate because he made me feel nervous.
"Oh."
"Beth!" I heard a familiar voice call my name. I turned round to find the person whos voice it matched.
"Liam, hi" I said as he approached the bench we were sat on.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, purposely avoiding the guy with the tattoos' gaze.
"Just taking a break. Why are you here?"
"Ava told me that you were on your own and I came to give you some company." He said with a small smile.
