Authors note here. Hi, how are you guys? I would just like to say that if you have actually read this far, I'm sorry for slowly updating and for not so fast story progression. I am also sorry if your bored as hell reading this bi story. If you like it well good for you, especially if my girlfriend is reading this love ya doll😘. And I'm sorry if this chapter is long. Ok I'll shut up now.

She flipped to another page and found a picture that I hoped she wouldn't see. I looked over my shoulder to see her looking at my wolf pack crest. She looked at it weird and her smile disappeared from where it usually stays.
What?! That's weird, I could have sworn I've seen this symbol before. She frowns at the picture, apparently in deep confusion.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked as I turned fully towards her.
Get yourself together Maddie. She seemed to shake herself out of her thoughts and looked at me. "Nothing... It's just... This is really good."
"Oh, ok. I'm glad you like it. I think the drawing isn't that good because I only saw it in a dream I had once." God I really hate lying, especially to cute girls.
Maybe she isn't human... "Oh, that's nice."
"Thanks."

Time skip: after school(in the hallways)

I'm just about to round the corner of the school halls, when I see Maddie excitedly shoving her books into her backpack. It seems like she is excited to be out of school.
I'm so glad to get to see my family. It's only a miles run from here. Oh well, it's totally worth it. Just need to get out the doors without any distractions, the I can go home.
"Hey Maddie! Mind if I walk you home?" I yell just as she goes to put in another social studies book. She jumps and looks up at me.
Looks like I'm going to be a couple hours late. "Oh, yea sure if you want."
"I live just a mile from the school, so I'm sure I can be a few minutes late. I'm don't think my mom would care if I'm home late." I gave her a reassuring smile.
"Ok." She zipped up her bag and stood up.
"LETS GO!" I yelled as I grabbed her hand. She blushes a bit at the feeling of my hand wrapped in hers. Maybe she does like me- no Maddie! Stop it!
"Do you wanna hear a joke?" I asked pulling her out of her thoughts once again.
She looks up at me and says, "sure."
I smile and pull a good one, "ya know, I think your suffering from a lack of vitamin me." I smirked at her.
What!? Oh my god! Wait Maddie, that could be a friendly joke.
"Hehe, I have a skeleton more jokes."
She flips her hair and puts on her glasses, "that's cool." She smiles.
"Hehe, nice look."
She blushes, "thanks. You know your one of the first people at school who willing talked to me in a long time."
I look to the ground feeling suddenly embarrassed because of my lack of Intel of her life. "Well I always love making new friends."
Friends... Ok... She looks down at her black flats. "That's good."
I sensed her sadness. "What's wrong?"
"Hmm? Oh nothing..."
I can tell she's sad, and of course being the mutant freak, I can read minds, so I can tell she thinks I don't like her. Maybe I should give her more hints. "Wanna hear another joke."
"Yes please." She seemed to cheer up at the changing of the subject.
"Ok, umm... I'm bad at chemistry, but I can tell the reaction when you smile." I smile at my triumphant attempt at hinting to her. "Was my joke good? Or are you just going to stare at me?"
She blushes again, "you've got some good jokes." She paused, thinking. It's worth a try just a try to see her reaction. "Teach me your ways senpai."
"Hehe, ok."
She smiles. Maybe I do have a chance.
"First you gotta learn to not be shy." I look over at her to make sure I didn't offend her.
You haven't seen me with my family. "Ok."
"If ya want. You can hangout with me? Who knows, maybe if you stay around me, my crazy (don't worry it's a good crazy) may rub off on you."
"Maybe but... I really have to... Do something tonight..." She looks down as if she were sorry for saying anything.
"It's cool. My mom is taking me to Cincinnati tonight. To see a baseball game." I look down, ashamed of my lie.
"Oh, sounds cool."
I wanted to change the subject so I said, "if you want, I can bring in more of my drawings..." I gave her a shy smile.
"That would be great." She stopped walking in front of a dark house that looked abandoned except for the new blinds and curtains in the Windows. "This is my place." Please don't catch my bluff, please, please, please.
"Ok, if you say so." I could tell she was lying but I don't care. It was almost night and I didn't want to be around her when IT happened.
Thank you lord. "Yeah... Sooo... I'll see you tomorrow? I really have to do that thing. Not that I don't want to talk to you, because your really cool-"
"It's fine. I understand, so I'll see you at school!" I started backing up, I looked away quickly. ITS starting. "Bye!"
