New Friends

The three boys played outside having fun chasing each other and throwing a ball back and forth. As they were passing the ball, Jonathon stopped and saw three young girls playing across the street. Jon blushed nervously seeing the girls and scooted back.

"Mark?" Jonathon asked.

"Yeah?" Mark replied.

"Who are they?" Jonathon then pointed at the three girls playing with dolls and drawing pictures.

"Just some girls. Just ignore them." Mark said.

"Hi Mark!" A young girl with glasses waved.

"Oh hey Saver. How are you and the girls doing?" He asked crossing his arms not looking at the girls.

"Where doing fine." Saver replied.

Mark sighed and looked at the brothers. "Benjamin, Jonathon this is Saver, Izzy and Frances."

"Hi." All three girls said.

"Hi." Benjamin and Jonathon said. The three girls giggled, except for one, Frances who smiled and stared into one of the boy's eyes.

"So you boys want to play with us?" Izzy asked.

Mark scoffed. "No way. Where not playing with girls, right guys?" Mark asked looking at his new friends.

"Well. We can if you want too." Jonathon said looking down and feeling nervous.

"Okay. Well let us know okay." Saver said with a smile and walked off with Izzy. However, Frances was the only girl who stayed and was staring at the boys.

"Who is she staring at?" Benjamin whispered.

"I don't know?" Jonathon asked getting scared at her.

Mark then thought for a bit and thought of a plan. "I know! Let's each move, and if she moves with us, then we know who she's staring at." Mark said. Mark then took a step back, but Frances didn't move.

Then it was Benjamin's turn to move, but still Frances didn't move. This made the two boys look at Jonathon and when he moved Frances moved as well.

Jonathon was scared at this point, but Frances thought they were playing and having fun. "Someone help me." Jonathon said to his brother and friend hoping for one of them

Frances giggled. "Your cute and funny." She said. Jonathon looked down and blushed.

"Aww looks like your brother has a girlfriend." Mark sang.

"He's young to have a girlfriend." Benjamin replied crossing his arms.

"You may never know." Mark said. Benjamin glared in reply.

"Well gotta go! Bye!" Frances skipped back to her friend's and went to Saver's house to play more.

Jonathon sighed seeing she was gone. "Finally she's gone." He said.

"Come on let's play more as well." Mark said opening the door, as the brother followed him.
