As the day passed, Alfred shuffled his way classroom to classroom, not being the usual obnoxious self he normally is. Eventually, he made his way into the health class where his detention was going to be served. He recognized some faces already in desks like, Matt Williams, (Don't mistake him for Matthew or you'll be in the grave before you blink) Lutz Beilshmidt, Luciano Vargas, and Viktor Braginski. They were all thugs and bullies, but Alfie never saw himself with sitting among them.
They all gave him a funny look as he took his seat in the back corner of the desk arrangements, but none of them dared to mess with the varsity football jock that eats about twice his calorie limit each day. They were bad, but they weren't stupid, their ass would be sticking out of the wall if they ever did try to pick a fight.
(Alfred did have his fair share of bullying in junior high though, he'll tell you that. Sometimes he will still get called a name or two, but it'll take way more to break him. )
A few minutes after, Al came in with a mischievous grin plastered on his cheeks. "Look's like a goodie-good is among us today, huh? Whatcha' do, porkchop? Forget to fix ya collar in front of Germania?" He started towards Alfred while chuckling under his breath.
Alfie narrowed his eyes and sat up just that much straighter, talking in a sharp tone. "Don't call me porkchop."
"Aww, why? You gonna cry like ya did in the sixth grade?" Al leaned on the desk and stared straight into his ocean blue eyes. "Once a fatty, always a fatty. You ain't never gon' change." He stabbed the other's stomach with the eraser end of a pencil, poking it repeatedly. "Look, you're still fluffy! I can feel the fat with my pencil!"
Alfred simply grabbed the pencil and pointed it away, taking a deep breath. "Please don't do that...."
Al stood up straight slapped his own chest with his hands. "Oh? You gon' show me what 'cha made of? Go ahead, hit me!"
"I'm not going to hit you....." A ring echoed out in Alfred's ears, one that only he could hear... "Be a hero, Alfie.... I know you can be one if you just try.... You have to be strong for me...."
Allen shoved the other hard into a desk, cornering him. "Go ahead, tubby... Show me what you're made of." A sly grin came across his face mocking his counterpart.
Before either of them could make a single move, a tall man with tan-ish hair and a punky style walked in, making Al retreat to his seat. Alfred had never seen this teacher before, (well maybe once in the parking lot) so he also sat down politely. The man stood in the middle of the room, glaring at everyone with his seaweed green eyes. "Look, I know you guys have been here before, so behave alrigh'?"
Alfie nodded, leaning back in his seat which drew attention from the older man in the front. "Maybe not all of us are old, eh? Stand up! What's yer name?"
"U-um...." Alfred stood up slowly, saying his name. "I've never been in detention sir, what do we do?"
He only chuckled in response, nodding at the guys in the front row. "Sit and think about what you did. I'll be back in three hours. Don't mess around." And with that, he left. Locking the door behind him too.
Well.... This is going to be a long three hours....
