About an hour into detention, Alfred was just about done with everyone in the room (Basically just Al). So far, he had spit spitballs at him, yelled insults at him across the room, made rude gestures at him, and just full out irritated him. But, being the bigger person, Alfred just had sucked it up and ignored everything he has been doing to the blonde. Now, not saying that it didn't annoy him, but just saying that Alfie didn't favor having a broken nose at the moment.
It was pretty hard, knowing that Al had moved to right next to him about halfway through the hour, just to start..... Flirting? Yeah, he was flirting with him! Alfred slowly moved his head so that they were facing each other and gave him the weirdest look that he could. But apparently it didn't work because the redhead leaned on his right arm and held up his left one, sticking a peace sign with his fingers....
But this wasn't a normal peace sign.... It faced inwards? And he... Stuck his tongue through, winking as he did that motion repeatedly. This made Alfred revolt in disgust, sending him flying toward the ground, smacking his back against the linoleum ground.
"Ah! shit!" He rubbed the back of his head, checking for any bruises.
"Aw, did ya hurt yourself baby doll~?" Al leaned on his chair, purring at the blonde. The bell then rang out, signaling that the detention is now over.
Alfred stood up, composed himself and grabbed his backpack, heading out to his car. But just like a shadow Al followed close behind. Aside from occasional purrs and winking coming from the little punk, it was more or less easy to ignore him now that they were in an open space. Alfie climbed into the handed down 2013 Camry, slamming the door closed behind him quickly and locking the doors for comfort. After taking a few deep breaths, he turned on the ignition and drove off to a small lookout hill about ten minutes from his house.
~Alfred's POV~
"Man, he's irritating.... Does he flirt with everything that walks? Seriously..." I mutter under my breath while climbing onto the hood of my trusty little car.
I tend to come here just to relax, but I can't stay too long today 'cause it's getting dark already and my old man is a bit.... Old fashioned.... Regardless, I can watch the sunset from here and head home afterwards, since it does calm my nerves. Seeing the clash of yellow and orange and even purple colliding along the horizon gives me a sense of hope, purpose. Determination, one might say.
This is the one place I have all to myself. I haven't shown anyone that I know this spot, it means that much to me. I know that it seems very girlish to have something like this, but I dunno... I don't really care... It's hell of a lot better than smoking and destroying my lungs or drinking and slowly making my liver give out. Sometimes I even bring my homework out here and finish it while it's still bright out just so I can kick back at home and maybe send a few cheeky texts to girls from school.
Anyways, as the last of the sun disappears beneath the green hills of the town, I climb back into the car and begin to head home. I could hear my phone dinging with texts and had to fight the temptation to check who it was (I'm not dying in a stupid car crash if I can help it).
But as soon as I stepped inside the house, I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a can of coke and a piece of leftover sandwich and sprinted to my room, belly flopping onto my bed. I turned my phone on and slid through my new messages.
Damn he's persistent.... Maybe if I just ignore him.... No! He'll just keep bugging me like the little pest he is! I'll send one thing.
After I hit send, I turn my phone off and open the can of soda, chugging it all down in basically two gulps. I then mutter to myself "Welcome to the fun part of high school."
((Thank you for reading this far! I just want to say that I used http://iphonefaketext.com/ to make the fake texts since I currently don't have access to Wattpad on my phone. It's free and easy to use. Now, back to the story! O(≧▽≦)O (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ ))
