Jack

"I can't just sit here and do nothing!"

"Jack, calm down," Tooth pleaded, "You'll get back eventually, it's just not the best time right now."

He looked each of the gathered Guardians in the eye, "There will never be a good time, because it's in the past. Isn't there someway I could go back?"

"Why do you want to go back? That was 300 years ago, what difference does it make?", North injected in his Russian accent.

Jack ran his hand through his hair, frustrated, "Well, you see, there was this girl–"

"Eeek!! Where you guys a couple!?", Tooth squealed.

Jack scratched the back of his head, blushing.

"Awww, so lover boy got himself a mate?", Bunny laughed.

"What? Yes- No- That's beside the point. The point is, I think she's in— or was— in trouble."

"What do you mean?", Tooth asked.

"Her name was Elsa, do you know her?"

North's face visibly darkened.

"Know her would be an understatement." Bunny muttered.

"You see, she was an important tool to Pitch during the Cold War..." North said cautiously.

"What do you mean Cold War? She would've been... Dead.. By that time."

"What he's trying to say," Tooth injected, "The Cold War is what we call Pitch's temporary rise to power. We defeated him, but it was hard and we lost friends and dreams were on the brink of extinction. And it was because he had help. Elsa is–was– the enemy."

"No she wouldn't do that, and that is exactly why I have to go back!"

"Only Man In Moon can send you back" North shook his head sadly.

"Well, then let's ask him!", he stood up frantically from his perch on a railing, where'd he'd been previously created a small spot of spiked frost in his agitation.

"Jack", Tooth injected, "You might not be able to come back."

"Just send me back," he looked to her with a small smile, "I'll be fine."

Bunnymund groaned and pushed himself at the wall to go and put a large paw on Tooth's shoulder, "Face it, 'Ana, this idiot'll find a way with or without us. The least we can do is make sure he doesn't get 'im self killed sooner rather than later."*

She gave a reluctant sigh in response, looking up to the sliver of moon viewable through the window glass ceiling.

"Stand in circle" North gestured to the center of the Guardian circle, then walked over to the control board for the globe, flicking a few switches. "Prepare yourself, if it works, this is not going to feel good..." He slammed his fist down on one last button.

And with a flash, Jack was lost to the sea of time.
