The Reality of a Dream

Earpiece

(Recap- Her blood touched her daggers and they transformed into something bigger than daggers.)
And just like that, she was holding two swords.
The gash on her arm started to heal all by itself, leaving no signs of blood.
While the bodyguards were distracted, she struck at them.
She made a gash on the first bodyguard, hitting him in the head with the hilt of the sword.
After her was knocked out cold, She turned around to face the next one.
Her dad, mom, brothers, and Xander seemed to be almost done so she hurried up.
She defended with one sword and attacked with the other.
The guy swung his sword to her neck and She ducked down quickly and jabbed him where-the-Sun-doesn't-shine.
He groaned and she kicked him in the head and she was finished.
She focused on the swords, their designs and the color.
She thought of her daggers and they changed back into the same daggers she had used at first.
No one had seem to notice what had just happened.
"Is everyone okay?" her dad asked.
"Yeah." everyone replied.
"How do we get out?" Violetta asked, not sure what their next step was.
Everyone grinned.
"Not to worry. Its very simple if we don't catch anyone's attention. Let's go."

"So the thing that you wanted to talk about with me was that I had Royal Blood in me?" Violetta asked her parents once they entered their base.
Her mom nodded. "Once you knew that we were going to train you so that you can defend yourself from them. My side of the family has had Royal Blood passed down from generations."
Violetta was left astonished. She would have never thought that Royal Blood has been in her family for generations.
"So, what do we do now?" Violetta asked.
Her parent's face darkened. "Well, being that they managed to get the Royal Blood from me, which isn't a lot, however can awaken various of monsters, probably the strongest ones. We need to be on guard for anything that might happen, like the attack you guys had earlier." Her mother told them, her eyes looking as if she was already forming a plan.
"What about the Yang? They aren't going to just leave us now, right?" Alex suddenly said.
"You're right. If I'm correct, there main target is Violetta, so we can assume that they're not going to give up until they have gotten the Royal Blood from you." her dad stated, looking at her.
Violetta sighed. "So we just sit here and wait until something attacks us?"
"What else can we do? We can't go to their base again, it's too risky," Sebastian told her.
Violetta got up. "I'm gonna go to sleep. Goodnight."
She kissed her mother and father good night, hugged her brothers who kissed her cheek, and hugged Xander goodnight.
As she was walking to her room, she felt something vibrating in the pocket of her flannel shirt.
Confused, Violetta jogged to her room, opened it, and shut it behind her.
She turned on the lights and placed her hand in her pocket.
She saw that it was a small, silver, black, and white earpiece, that was vibrating and blinking a white light.
She pushed the green button and place it in her ear.
"Hello? Who is this?" Violetta asked, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Oh thank God, I thought it fell out," a voice responded.
"Wait, Christopher? Is that you?" Violetta asked.
"Yes, however I prefer that you call me Chris, I mean I did help you didn't I?" Christo--Chris responded.
Even if Violetta couldn't see him, she could imagine that he was smirking.
"Fine. How did you even manage to slip this earpiece in the pocket of my flannel shirt?"
Chris chuckled. "Remember when you went in 'disguise' as Celestia? When I pushed you against the wall, I slipped the earpiece when you weren't looking."
"Okay?.By the way, you still owe me an apology, that actually hurt. Oh, and I also forgot to say thank you, for helping me out," Violetta said, slowly warming up to him.
"Ok fine. I'm So sorry for pushing you against the wall. And also your welcome. We are friends right, isn't that what we do, help each other?" Chris said, his voice sounding sincere.
Violetta smiled. "You mean you still want to be friends? Weren't we best friends?"
"Yes, we were. I don't want to rush it though. I mean, Violetta, I'm not on the same side as you. We can't be seen together, better yet talk to each other. I'm putting us in danger, and if they find out--"
Suddenly, she heard a bunch of noise coming from outside her door.
"Violetta, you still awake!?" someone said, as they entered her room.
'Oh no', Violetta thought. She forgot to lock the door.
She got in her bed and put her cover over her.
"Violetta? Is something wrong?" Chris asked, concern laced in his voice.
Someone shook her shoulder violently and she faked waking up.
She sneakily took off the earpiece and looked up at who was there.
It was Xander.
"What happened?" Violetta asked with a sleepy voice.
"A monster, it'--"
CRASH
The door to her room suddenly got blasted open, ashes being the only thing left from it.
The monster was about the size of the door.
This monster was brown, soil or dirt visually running through its body.
She put the earpiece in her ear, not caring if Xander heard or saw.
"Chris, sorry, but now is not a good time. We are um, being attacked by ugly monsters so call back some other da--"
She pressed the end button and jumped off her bed, just in time before the monster destroyed it.
"Where's my mom and dad?" Violetta asked.
"They're currently trying to defeat another one of these. There are five of these in total. Fire, water, earth, wood, and metal," he said, gulping nervously.
"Who were you talking to?" Xander whispered to her.
"Um--"
She placed the earpiece in her pocket and summoned her daggers.
Xander also summoned his bow and quiver.
Violetta knew that fire beats wood, fire beats water, fire probably beats earth, and She didn't know about metal. That's it!
"Xander," she said. "We have to lure all of the monsters in the same room."
"What? But--"
"Trust me, where are they?"
"Your brothers, parents, and the other spies are taking care of them."
"Let's go. You lead."
Xander ran out, and Violetta caught the attention of the monster.
I hope this works, she thought, and she ran out with Xander, she was leading them either to victory or ...death.
