-FULL VERSION-
18 year old Rhys Mackabee never focused on much other than school, his youth group, and his family. Why wouldn't he? He's never had to deal with the drama all of his old buddies went through. Rhys has dedicated his entire high school career to avoiding romantic relationships, parties, and jail time. His only goal was to coast through life- take the easy way out. But when things get a little too easy, maybe a glimpse of the other side could be a good thing for a good boy...

New to adulthood, 18 year old Cadence Taylor has spent high school trying to navigate friendships, bullying and gossip. Now that summer has arrived, she only has one goal on her mind: giving herself the life she always thought she deserved. But an encounter with a lost boy could bring a revival for a scared girl...
NOTE: PLEASE READ
I've been working on this story for a while, and finally got the courage to post it. It comes from the deepest part of my imagination, and my deepest wants. I've written this from a male point of view for reasons I truly cannot even explain; but for the girls who feel like they don't belong in a fairytale, I'm here to say that no matter what, there is a guy out there that you don't have to convince to feel a certain way about you, you don't have to be the one too scared to speak- there's a guy that's just as shy as you are, and just as lost, but one who throws all of that away because God told him to look up.
Inspired by the quote: "Imagine a guy so focused on God, that the only reason he looked up to see you is because he heard God say "that's her"". -Unknown(?)
