"She is in room 234, which is on your left," the nurse explained.
I walked slowly afraid to see with my own eyes. I see her door as I walk closer to the end. I get to her door without even thinking what lays behind. I knock.
"Come on in," a male voice muffled through the door.
I put my hand on the handle; calmed my breathing and walked in.
"Well hello, you must be her daughter," the doctor said.
I nodded as I look at my mother. She looked so pale and breakable. In the past 2 years she got sicker than usual. It scared me but she never worried about it.
"Do you know why your mother is here?" doctor asked.
"No will you please tell me why doctor," I replied.
He got up a motioned me out in to the hallway.
"Well, I'm taking the never to you she had bone cancer. She has had it for a while however it's getting worse," he explained.
All I could do was not.
"Do you know what is bone cancer?" He asked.
I turned my head saying no.
"Its when the joints get swolen, stiffen up, and not able move. When this happens is causes illness, weight loss, and lower red blood count," he explained. I couldn't respond to let him known I was listening. I looked up he was still talking, however, I blocked out his voice.
".... I think you should spend time with her," he mentioned as he opened the door into her room.
Once again I nodded and slowly went to go sit by my mother. I looked over to the door and heard the click. That's when I knew I could loose it. My eyes turned into waterfalls.Hoped you liked it. This is my forst story kind of nerve racking. Working on chapter 2. Thanks for reading
