I looked down at my hand; cold from the tears. Being here for a couple of hours my eyes are red and swolen.
"Sweetie," mom quietly said.
All of sudden a rush of anger flew over me.
"Why didnt you tell me?!" I asked harsh.
"I didn't want to upset you," she asnwered.
"Like keeping it away from me helped," I hissed.
"Yeah, what was I thinking. Oh maybe I thought about it and your feelings," she said.
"Did you ever think that okay day you wouldn't be here and I had no clue about. Then wonder why you didn't tell me anything to make it better."
"Everysingle day I did and I'm thankful to make it this long. There is nothing the doctor's can do its too late to do anything."
Thud Thud
"I'm coming in," a male voice said.
It was the doctor from earlier. He came in and say down on his stool.
"Well, I have bad news and no good so if you would like to stay-,"
"Yes I'm going to stay here and listen or might be a secret, " I said as I interrupt him.
"Since your mother has bone cancer for a while; her white cells can't fight the disease anymore. White cells keep away the diseases away in our body. So when our healthy cells multiply they make cancer ones. They will do this rapidly and the white cells can't keep up. Eventually her body will body will give up." He explaines.
A tear runs down my face and wonder why.
"How long does she have till her body gives up," I asked.
"Different people different times," he replied.
I looked back at my mother. So fragile looking; dark circles from under eyes. She looked like a dead corpse lying there.
"I leave to give you some time," the doctor said as he walked out the door.
I walk over to my mom to hold her hand. She repeats sorry and the waterfalls come back again. It gets better I promise. It might have a sad beginig but I'm sure it will have a good ending thanks for reading chapter 2. ♡♡
