Chapter 2 - Canada and Meetings

Nathan's POV

August 26th 2013

I stepped off the plane into the Toronto airport. I hate flying for so long but at least today I get to see Ariana! Ever since we recorded 'Almost is Never Enough' we've been really close. Ari and I tell each other everything I feel like she really trusts me.

My bodyguard Kevin snapped me out of my thoughts by grabbing my arm pulling me through the crowd of screaming fans. Wait when did they get here? I guess I was so wrapped up in my thoughts I didn't even hear or see them.

As Kevin pulled me through the crowd I smiled and waved at the fans. Once I was safely inside the car the driver began to bring me to the hotel. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw that I had a text from Ariana, butterflies erupted in my stomach. In case you were wondering yes I do like Ariana. She's so beautiful, caring, real, extremely talented, I could go on for hours. I'm hoping that some day we could become a couple but I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

**Text messages**

A- Have you landed yet?

N- Yup I'm on my way to the hotel!

A- ok I'll see you soon!!!!!

I put my phone back in my pocket and turned my attention to the street. We finally approached a building which I'm guessing is the hotel that were staying at considering there are lots of girls and boys staying behind a metal gate. I hopped out of the car and greeted some fans on the way into the hotel. After I got checked in I walked over to the elevator. As I was approaching the elevator I noticed how nice the hotel actually was. The elevator doors opened and I stepped in with my suitcase. There was a ding and the doors opened.

I walked down the hallway searching for room 5412. I scanned the walls for the number I found it! The butterflies came back as I realized that Ariana is in the room right next to mine so I will be seeing her in a matter minuets. Just as a stuck the room key card in the slot I heard an excited girls voice.

"Nathan!" she screamed.

I looked over an saw Ariana. I let go of my luggage and wrapped my arms around her small waist.

"Hey how've you been?" I asked pulling her even closer to me.

"Okay." she answered.

"What do you mean okay? Did something happen?" I asked.

"Umm yeah, Jai and I broke up." She said. I couldn't help but feel happy, but I still do feel bad for her she loved him.

"Oh well you want to come in and talk about it?"

"Yes please" She said.

When we went into the hotel room she sat on the couch. We talked first about her and Jai then just about everything. After we got caught up with everything that's going on in each others lives we went to Starbucks. After we had gone to Starbucks it was around 10:30 pm so we decided since we had a concert tomorrow we should get some sleep so we went our separate ways to our rooms.

I missed her so much when I was in the UK. I'm so glad we can finally be together again even if its just as friends, for now.
