As the dark one's soul beneath the surface
As the raven's wing
As the mourning passers by
As my heart doth scream
Deeper than an ocean's tide
Darker than the sky
The thought of losing someone dear
The thought of dying blind
As Halloween night doth creepeth near
As the demons show their teeth
Warning all who gather close
They must solemnly be ware
The pounding in my chest doth quicken pace
His eyes burning in my mind
Once a gorgeous captivating blue
Now dark blood trapped on his visage
Falling down a deep, dark shaft
As midnight draw-eth nigh
Claustrophobia serves its ghastly place
Small stars appear before thine eyes
Where chemical romances speak the truth
It's where I doth head next
Where they cover their eyes with it, clothe themselves in it
It's here I may be forever trapped
