The Interview

"I'm just going to ask a few questions if that's okay?" Charlie had said. "That's fine." I said feeling a little nervous. "So first off, why did you start working in a bar and at what age?" He questioned. "I started to work here when I was about 14 when I got kicked out of my foster family's home." I told Charlie. I was getting a bad vibe from this man from the queasiness in my stomach. I hadn't eaten dinner so I figured it was just from me being hungry. "Why did you get kicked out?" He asked leaning forward getting closer to me and narrowing his brown eyes. "They didn't like how I had started drinking and doing drugs, and I also hung with the wrong people." I had told the man quietly, tapping my black heels against the hardwood floor out of anxiety. The music was still booming and Charlie was making me feel uncomfortable still. I was hoping to leave as soon as I could to go home and take a nice hot shower. "That's all the questions I have for you." Charlie said looking me dead in the eye. "Okay...thank you." I quickly said and went to the locker room. I opened my locker and grabbed my bag, wallet, phone, and keys. I said goodbye to David and my best friend Ari. I gave her a hug and she whispered in my ear, "I got 200$." I pulled away from the hug and looked at her shocked. "How?!" I replied. "I got interviewed for a article!" All I did was reply with "oh" and then gave her another quick hug and left. I was on my way walking to Ashlyn and I's apartment when I started to hear footsteps behind me. I was a little freaked out so I started to walk faster but then the other footsteps got faster also.
