For two hours I sit in the drivers seat, taking us to the closest big city, Dulsor. I pull into the parking lot of the first mall I see after entering the city. It's about a ten minute drive from the outskirts of Dulsor. Amy is beside me in the middle seat and Danny is in the passenger seat. Thinking that I might as well me a gentleman and move any to the back seat where she has more room, I struggle to get her there without waking her up. Once she is finally laying across the back seat I sit there looking at her. She sleeps so peacefully, and looks absolutely gorgeous. I push her hair out of her face and start to move back to the front when she grabs me and pulls me back to her. She moves over slightly and I lay there with her. She lays half beside me half on top of me, with her head on my chest. I fall asleep the happiest I've been in a while.

Daylight shines through the car windows when Josh starts yelling. "Hey guys! Wake the fuck up we gotta go now!" Amy is sitting up in an instant looking around wildly. I can hear police sirens in the distance, getting closer. That's when I realize the radio is on.
"Black Audi, licence plate bjg-5545, if anyone has seen this car, please call 911 immediately." The radio reporter says. I don't hear anything else since we grab our bags and are out of the car instantly. Running down the street with a full backpack is more work than I would've thought, but we all manage to peel out of the parking lot fast. Giddy laughter comes from all of us, and doesn't stop for a couple minutes. We walk down the street and sit on a bench.
"How much money do we have?" Josh asks. I reach into my bag and pull out a wad of cash and 2 of my mom's credit cards, and Amy pulls out her debit card. Josh looks at us and pulls out his wallet. He pulls out all the money in it and hands it to me. I quickly do a count.
"So in cash we have four hundred and twenty five dollars. We should go to the nearest atm and pull out as much money from our cards as we can, then ditch them." Josh and Amy nod in agreement and we start walking. Being unfamiliar with the city it takes us over an hour to find a bank. Amy gives me her card and pin, then I walk inside, leaving Josh and Amy waiting outside. Just a precaution in case something happens. I drain Amy's card, then pull out as much money from my moms card as I can without making it suspicious. Then we walk over to the next nearest bank and take out another large sum of money from my moms credit cards. I ditch the cards down a sewer drain a couple blocks away.
"Okay," I say, "we have a total of three thousand six hundred and ninety bucks. We should split it up in case we get separated." After the money is split up as evenly as possible we start walking around, not sure of what to do.
"Today's Friday right?" Josh asks. I nod. "We should show up at a school and make friends with someone. We're gonna need a place to stay."
"Yeah it's worth a shot." Amy says. We walk around for another hour or so until we stumble across a school. The time is 3:37 so we wait until the school lets out before approaching someone.
"Look me and my two friends need a place to stay for a couple nights," Amy motions to us, "can you help us out?" The kid shrugs.
"Sure. I'm Conner by the way." He says.
"I'm Amy, and this is Danny and Josh." Then we walk with Conner to his house.
The first thing I notice is how many guns there are in Conner's house. Conner is unfazed and tells us to make ourselves at home.
"You little shit! Move your fucking stuff out of the doorway!" A girls voice suddenly rings out.
"Quit your bitchin!" Conner yells back, then to us he says "don't worry about her. My sisters just grumpy."
I swear I can hear Josh's jaw drop when she walks into the living room. She looks all of us over, pausing on Josh until he shuts his mouth and looks away in embarrassment. Truthfully I don't blame Josh. Her blond hair, blue eyes, lean body, height of about six inches shorter than me, and her slim waist creates a stunning image. Then there's the fact that her breasts would be considered the perfect size, and that she's wearing a tight shirt and extremely short shorts, to Josh she must be a tease. I look at Amy and see something more. So I put my arm around her and hug her tight.
"Who are your friends?" Conners sister asks.
"Uhh Josh, Amy and Danny I think." He responds.
"Cool. I'm Sarah." She says to us, then back at Conner, "Who are they? I've never seen them before." Conner doesn't even look at his sister when he tells her,
"Some people who needed a place to stay for a couple nights. Probably ran away, not used to the city. Lay off." Sarah scoffs as she leaves the room.
Later that night Amy and I are laying on the couch, Conner is in his room, and Josh is upstairs talking to Sarah.
"What do we do now? Amy asks me.
"What do you mean?" I respond.
"I mean, we made it this far, we are in the city, we can have our freedom, but what do we do with it? Sleeping in some random guys house while Josh tries to get laid isn't exactly what I had in mind."
"I guess, the only thing that there is to do is to have fun. Do whatever we want, whenever we want. Really live." Once I'm done talking I can hear thumps and a couple shouts from Sarah's room.
"Looks like he succeeded." I say with a small laugh. Then I lean over and kiss Amy. As I'm falling asleep I hear Amy say,
"Let's make this the time of our lives. No holding back and no regrets."
