It worked! I can't believe it worked! They didn't even have a clue, and to think it would be so easy. They passed by my thoughts without a realisation that they were there. They didn't even think that it was possible for someone like me. Haha! Now everything can fall into place. Without the ability to read my mind the mind dragons won't find out what I've been planning, and in the end they will be unable to stop it. Sure, I still have to get out of this damned cave they've put me in, but other then that I think it'll be fine. I can start training again. They've healed my wings and body so it may take a little longer then I first thought. The whole point it to go further then my body and mind will allow. So far I haven't reached my limit yet, though I was getting close.
Okay, what can I use while I'm in here. The nest is made out of straw, so that would be good if I could find someway to tie it together. Too bad fire isn't exactly the greatest thing to be creating other things with. Now, I just need to think. Hmm. Another thing I could do is meditate, or at least that was what I was told. The only problem with that is I can't see how it would test my body. My mind definitely, my body no. Though I guess, with the materials I have, it is the only way to go. Well, now that I can hide myself from mind dragons, my next plan should be how to get out of this place. At least I'll have time to think about that.

Silver woke the next day with a small pain in her left shoulder and a very itchy hide. She groaned, rolling over and quickly standing to her feet with a short growl. At first, she felt strange. Lighter... and flimsy. Then she remembered that she had slept without her shell. It probably hadn't been the best idea, especially with a straw bed. Reaching around she pulled a piece of straw from under her scales, shivering slightly. It stung a little, not too much, but enough to make her uncomfortable.
After another couple of minutes pulling out straw from under her scales the dragoness let her shell expand over her back again, the comfortable weight settling over her shoulders and wings. She padded over to the edge of the cave and let out a small sigh. They would be meeting Firefly again today, for more dancing lessons. Remembering last night Silver was looking forward to it, but was a little tired that morning.
She was quickly broken out of her train of thought as a flash of purple went by her cave. She smiled slightly and looked up to see Retrix hovering above her with a small grin on his face.
"Come on!" the void dragon said, "We're going to be late."
He turned and flew off. With a small chuckle Silver followed him, looking around for Zepos. She spotted the drake just taking off from his cave. He nodded a greeting to her and she nodded back with a smile. They brushed wings before heading off once more to Firefly's cave. The fire dragoness was waiting for them as they came down for a landing.
"Morning you three," she said, glancing over them with a small smile, "Glad to see you right on time."
"Wouldn't miss it," Zepos replied with a small grin.
Firefly laughed and shook her head, "Well, let's get inside and continue with practice. As well as Silver was doing last night you all still need work. Especially you males."
Retrix snorted, "Who knew a human custom could be so difficult to master."
"Human custom? Where'd you get that absurd idea?" the fire dragon seemed shocked, "Dancing has been around for hundreds, no, thousands of years. Back then dragonesses used it as a way to find their mates. The drakes that succeeded in shadowing their partner were the ones that found themselves with mates."
