"Aww, Levi that was cute. Puppy grade school love." Daphne, my hopeless romantic friend, commented after I told her the flipped story."Oh you think so? I just scratch the surface though." I said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"What? You mean the story's not yet over?" she exclaimed, wide-eyed.
I shrugged.
"Then why did you said 'the end' in the end?" now she's irritated.
My brow raised at the repetition,
"You know, for a moment of rest." I smile to her, as bright as I could."Geez, such a lazy-missy! Will you go on?!" she's rolling her eyes me-ward.
"Alright alright, just let me grab more gummy worms." that, and I went to kitchen.
Its Saturday afternoon and the lass over there, which is also called Daphne Lewis, decided that she has nothing to do with her life and went to my house and ruin my peaceful siesta.
Since I don't feel like napping anymore, I just entertained my chicken of a friend.(chickens practically wakes up slumberers, winks*)
I told her this story--which my mom told me the time she found out I'm crushing on someone--
I came back with a bowl of gummy worms and a carton of juice. Grabbing a handful and shoving it on her mouth, she asked as I sat down,
"so, what happened next?"
I smile and munch some gummy worms before talking.
