River's POV

   After my talk with my father I decided to get to know Harmony. And by get to know I mean watch her sleep.

   She has a love seat in her room facing her bed, that's what I'm sitting on. I've been thinking and if I'm the soon to be alpha that means that I have to listen to everyone's requests. "Mmmnn" I hear Harmony moan, I quickly stand up as she starts to twist and turn in her sleep.

I'm in the kitchen as I hear screams from upstairs, I know it's Harmony.

Harmony's POV

   After last night I didn't know what to think about River. Maybe he only likes me because I'm royalty, he probably only wants the power that comes with me. I need to take my mind off of him. So I head to the library.

   As I'm walking towards the library I look up and see a chandelier. I haven't looked at one since what happened. I wonder if anyone else from my pack survived. Probably not, so I better not get my hopes up. I walk through the dark door way into a gigantic room filled with books that look brand now and books that look hundreds of years old.

   I was walking past the shelves, feeling the spines of all the literature as one caught my eye. A book with my packs symbol on it. "What is this doing here?" I whisper as I pick up the large book. I sit down on a burgundy velvet couch and carefully open the book. It's written in this strange lettering that I can't understand but what's weird about it is that it has drawings of a wolf and a girl that looks just like me.

   I skip a couple of pages and I see maybe a chapter heading, I has flames so I assume it's referring to fire. It shows a drawing of me doing intricate poses, punches and kicks where fire is appearing from my limbs. I skip a couple of pages and I see an earth symbol with different movements and me manipulating the earth. As I flip through the book I see all eight powers being explained. But on the very last page there was one sentence written in English, and it horrified me. "The next ones mate's sister will end the next one." I can't read anymore of this book, so I close it and put it back. I was hoping to figure out where I came from and what I'm supposed to do but it just leads to more questions and uncertainty.

I stand up and get a bit dizzy, "Ugh..." My head hurt so bad, I think I'm dehydrated. I walk to the kitchen slowly, and when I got there I saw river with this girl who had dark, beautiful hair. She had bright pink lips and blue eyes that could make anyone jealous, she also had tan skin. I stood there not wanting to jump to conclusions, but I was cautious. I walk to the counter and go on my tippy toes to reach the cup in the cabinet.

They were laughing together, almost as if they had known each other forever. I knew I was never going to be able to feel that way with River, but I didn't say anything until she left. As I was getting water in my cup river had put something in the microwave. "Who was that?" I said, trying not to show my jealousy. "Why do you care?" Every time I think I'm getting somewhere with him he always shuts me out again. I can't keep going on like this. "I was just wondering, you don't have to be so rude." I scowled at him. "If you really want to know, she's my sister."
