'Oh great elevators broken again' i said to Charlotte, my seven year old devil of a sister, 'Guess we will have to take the stairs'. She replied. I hated taking the stairs they always smelt like alcohol and drugs. Our flat wasn't a good place for Charlotte to be raised in because there was a lot of drug dealers and takers in our flats. But our flat wasn't like that because we use a thing called Febreeze. Anyway we were on our way to Lakeside. 'Are you excited' i said whilst walking down the stairs. ' Yep Rikki, did you remember the things?' Charlotte asked me. ' Um guitar? Check. Drawings? Check. Wristbands? Check Oysters? Check and Money? Check. Yes got everything Charli.' She smiled at me and shouted ' i cant wait!'. We had reached the ground floor it was 2.30pm and it started at 4.00pm i made sure we had plenty of time to get there because we could get a great spot in the line.
We managed to get to the bus stop by 2.50pm thoughts kept running through my head one of them 'I cant believe its my birthday and I'm not celebrating.' but Charlotte remembered and made me specail toast this morning and help my Aunt pick out a present for me. She tried to make me have a special birthday, I loved it for the little things not the big things so that was the best birthday since the accident. My Mum and Dad died when i was sixteen so Charlotte would have been five. Since then everything has been different. But we have made it through the bad times and the past is behind us now. I'm eighteen and i am a legal adult.
At 3.00pm we got the 370 to Lakeside. I got the oysters out although Charlotte didnt really need it because she was free for the next three or four years. Anyway as we reached Lakeside, I picked Charlotte up and got off the bus it was no 3.45pm we rushed to the middle where the lifts were. We gave the bouncer a look at Charlottes wristband ' Im her Guardian she is only seven i need to go in with her.' i explained. She got a book for ten pounds. We waited in line i think we were the last ones there. I waited witha very impatient little sister going ' My legs ache, Im Hungry, When is it my turn?' I ignored her as she tugged on my shirt and my jeans.
When we finally reached the front she looked at me and whispered ' Is this really happening? Am i really going to meet One Direction?' We reached Louis and we gave him a drawing i did of him he said it was ' Brilliant' as he was signing the new 1D book. Next it was Niall Charlottes favourite, it was his birthday the other day so we made him a present. Charlotte got shy as we reached him. ' Whats your name sweetheart?' Niall asked Charlotte in his adorable irish voice. Charlotte looked to me and hid behind my legs.' Her names Charlotte i'm Rikki.' I held out my hand to shake it, he had a nice smile. I bent down and Charlotte came in front of me. ' I brought you a birthday a present Rikki made it.' She said in her sweet adorable voice. She handed him the guitar case. His eyes lit up as he opened it he said ' Boys look at this guitar.' They all finished with there people they looked at the guitar then at me. ' You made this.' Niall asked as if to stay WOW. I nodded and their manager came over and asked for a photo with us all in and the guitar. I said ' Ok.' i pulled my hat off and shook my head my hair fell in a natural place. Niall stared at my hair, which was a natural reaction for most boys. I had natural red hair thick and wavey but not curly. Their manager took a photo and uploaded it to twitter. We gave the rest of the boys their portraits and went by this time Charlotte was tired so i carried her.
We made our way to the bus station. We saw the boys in their black van and waved at them. To my surprise the van stopped and Niall walked over to us and gave me a slip of paper ' He said I want to meet up with you but im busy for a while text me and we can organise a date.' Harry called him over. 'Bye Rikki.' He said whilst walking away. I acted cool and waved as he drove away. Charlotte was still a little bit awake but i was going to scream later as she was really tired. It was 8.00pm and we got back to the flat. Darn It i ust remembered the elavator was broken i had to climb the stairs with a seven year old in my arms and i lived on the top floor. I reached my flat at 8.45pm it would normally on ly take about thirty minutes but i was carrying a seven year old. I unlocked the flat and placed Charlotte down in our room, we share a room its not annoying but i cant be up all night talking to my friends on my phone. Charlotte drifted off to sleep whilst i thought wether i should text him or not yet.
Niall's P.O.V :
When will she text me i thought checking my phone every minute. Maybe i should of got her number. 'Dude chill she has a little sister maybe she is looking after her.' Harry said patting my back. ' But what if she thinks i'm a total dork?' I asked him. ' Well you aren't so pull it together dude.' he replied. 'You are Niall Horan.' Louis said impling that it was the best person to be in the world. I put my phone in my pocket. I found the portrait she drew of me i looked on the back it had her twitter name. It was @RikkiWasHere she had more followers than me. Her bio was - Dreaming Wont Get You Anywhere, But You're Actions Will... I clicked the follow button. Then i put my phone on my lap. All the sudden it vibrated. My eye's lit up apparently, according to Harry. I checked it, it was a text.
Rikki's P.O.V :
I text him after saving his number to my phone. The Convosation went like this;
Me: Hi, Its Rikki
Niall : Hi Rikki
Me: So why did i need to txt u again i kinda have a rubbish memory "/
Niall: So we could meet up.
Me: Ok... ")
Niall: When are you free then?? :)
Me: Um i'm free every other day except from wednesday and thursday coz i have Photography class
Niall: So do you wanna meet at Starbucks next Tuesday at Lakeside?
Me; Sure, What Time? ")
Niall: 1.00pm
Me: Sure i have to go now my sister just woke up ") Bye ")
Niall: Bye
It was some long convo but my sister had a nightmare so it ended. ' I had a nightmare Rikki' Charlotte said as she came and got into my bed she snuggled up next to me and we both fell asleep...
