5 seconds of summer (fan fic)

Foot steps

Why isn't he here.

It's now 12am and I'm still sat here in hope he might come through that terminal. I've never missed someone this much.

Slowly dozing off I hear foot steps. Not walking, running. I open my eyes and look around. Behind me running from the other end of the airport is Calum

He came!

Why from that end though? I'm too excited to care.

I ran as fast as I could with my giant teddy bear and balloon and hugged Calum as hard as I could.

"I'm sorry" he whispered into my hair

"Where were you?" I said pulling away

"My flight was transferred to another airport and my phone got stolen so I had no way of contacting you, I went to a pay phone and called your phone but it must be dead so I called Luke and he said you'd been here for about 7 hours waiting for me" he said all in one breath

"So I ran from the other side of town to get here and see you." He finished

I hugged him even harder knowing that he ran all the way to me.

"That explains the sweatiness and see through shirt" I giggled

Before I could say anything else he took his shirt off right in the middle of the deserted airport.

"You sat for 7 hours with a giant teddy bear and a balloon by yourself just for me, I think you need some cuddles."

And with that we began walking out of the airport hand in hand to the car.

As we arrived home I was greeted by ash

"YOU'RE BACK AND HES ALIVE"

"Hey" Calum and I said in sync

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN MR" ash said being all motherly

"Running across town, you?" He replied all chilled

We then ran to my bedroom and snuggled up in the beanbag and watched batman movies for the remains of the night with the giant teddy bear that Calum decided to call George.
