Cuddle buddy

'I thought we had something special!'

I groaned as the actor on TV said it to his cheating girlfriend, come on let it go she cheated on you.

I got out of bed because I was sick of sitting around watching sappy soap operas.

I walked downstairs hoping to find someone but instead there was a note:

'Hayley,

Your aunt and I are going to her beach house for a couple days.

$200 on the counter and food in the fridge. Make sure to see Calum, he's a sweet boy.

Mum xx'

I smiled at the note then placed it back on the bench.

I looked at my phone which had 2 new messages:

Ash bum: "hey bubba how's it been with cal, Luke, ash and mikey? X hope you're feeling better and guess what.

I'm not going to wait for you to say "what" so ill just tell you now.

IM COMING TO STAY WITH YOU WHILE YOUR MUMS AWAY BECAUSE IM AMAZING AND YOU LOVE ME. CALL ME WHEN YOU GET THIS AMAZABALLS BEAR FILLED MESSAGE X"

Cal the pal: "Hayley I miss you :c I want cuddles :c XxXxXxXxXxXxXxX

Yeah I got kind of carried away with the 'x's but I wuv youuuu c:"

Of course only he would name himself 'cal the pal' in my contacts.

Aww that was so cute though.

I forgive him.

I decided to call ash like she asked.

Our call was pretty much each other screaming with excitement and her saying she'll be here soon

I then texted cal back

Me: cal the pal. Really? Hahah miss you too come over I need cuddles too. :c xxxx

Not long after about an hour there was a knock at the door. I ran knowing it was ash.

"HAYLEY MY BAILEY"

"ASHY MY BASHY"

Yes, we call each other made up words.

"I missed you so much! How's cal?" She winked

"He's good" I smiled as we took her luggage up to the guest room.

We chatted for about an hour just catching up and everything until I heard "HAYLEY CAL THE PAL NEEDS CUDDLES" and I knew straight away it was Calum.

"Ill be right back" I called over to ash as I sprinted down the stairs

I ran to Calum and he picked me up and spun me around

"Cuddle buddy?" Calum pouted

"Cuddle buddy."
