A Nightmare Into A Reality

Chapter 16

So we were finally back in California. I was so excited to bring Melody home.

"You excited to see your new home, Melody?"
She smiled in the cutest way.

I just realised that I didn't have any furniture for her. I guess she's sleeping with me and Colby tonight. She still had a cold to. I needed to get some medicine for her to.

We just got settled in the apartment. Suddenly we heard a doorbell. It was lily and Sam back from there honeymoon. They also had Amelia with them.
"Hey guys! We're back. I hope you didn't miss us to much." Lily said entering the doorway.
"No we didn't miss you at all."
Colby said jokingly.

As Sam walked in he sat Amelia down. When she touch the ground she ran straight to melody. They were becoming pretty close.

"Can you say Amelia?" I said to melody in my baby voice.
She couldn't of course since she was still real young, but she ended up saying Milly.

"Awe Milly that's cute it rhymes with lily." I said looking at Amelia.

Amelia tried to say melody but all she could say was Mel.

"Milly and Mel. Look they're already becoming best friends. You know that sounds like a TV Show. (Kenan and Kel.)

"Look at us all back together again and with amazing daughters. It seems like this has been on hell of a journey." Sam said looking at all of us.

Yeah it's been great. I love it when all of us are together.

We were all standing there until Melody started crying. She took Amelia toy then Amelia hit her.

"Oh my gosh im so sorry about that. Amelia we don't hit people. We learn to share with others." Lily said picking up Amelia.

Amelia understood what she said. When she sat her down, she when back and kissed Melody arm where she hit her and gave melody her toy.

I'm not suprised Amelia comes from to forgiving parents.

A couple hours later they left leaving me, Colby and melody alone. We all sat on the couch with melody between us and my head on his shoulder.

"Audi do you know how much I love you?" Colby asked
"Enough to tell the whole world?"
He just whispered I love you in my ear.
"Why did you whisper it?"
"Cause you are my world."
