I run to the door and throw it open. I haven't seen my dad in so long that I give him an embraceful hug. I'm slightly irritated that he hasn't bothered to call or text me, but it's been too long to show my anger.

We go into the kitchen and I grab some Oreos out of the cabinet. He gives me a dirty look when he sees me grab the Oreos out, but I don't care. He asks me about my new life that my mom built for us. I tell him that it's great, and that I'm really happy. I lie. He asks me if I'm going to have any friends over this weekend and I look to the floor and back to him and give him a gloomy, "No." He shrugs and moves on. I tell him that I need to text my mom. I lie, again. I'm really going to tell Ellen that my dad is here and that she can't come over today.

After I text Ellen, I run downstairs to my dad and see him snooping around the kitchen. I question, "What are you doing?" he looks up like a deer in headlights and says, "Nothing! Just wanted to know what your new house looks like." I pretend that I don't care, but I'm actually taking notes to report to my mom. My parents have had issues before. My mom and I have had to move many times before because my dad is really crazy about trying to get me and my mom back into his life. I just want to keep my mom and I safe.

We walk into the living room and we both plop down on the couch. He tries to make small talk but it's so awkward that I'm internally cringing.

I bring him upstairs to show him my bedroom. He comments, "Very purple! And who's this guy I see on your walls?" I giggle to myself and tell him, "Jacob Sartorius, dad! He's my favorite viner, youtuber, and muser." He shrugs his shoulders and moves to look at the pictures of me and Ellen. "Now who is this, Reese?" I explain, "She's my best friend, Ellen. She was the first person I met when we moved here, and we have been BFF's ever since." A smile comes to his face, and then he sits on my bed. He then says, "This is a nice room you got here. Can I see your mothers?" I say, "Well, not really. You see, she doesn't really like other people being in her room... not even me." he nods his head and leads himself into the foyer. He says, "Well, it was nice seeing ya, kiddo. Maybe we can hangout more often." I smile and nod. I show him the door and he leaves.

I immediately call my mom and tell her everything. She tells me that she is coming home immediately and to not go anywhere. I'm slightly confused, but I just go up to my room and post on my Jacob blog. I write  about how I'm so upset that I couldn't get the meet and greet tickets. I post my daily 'Jacob Collage' and log off of my laptop.

I have had such an eventful day, that I lay down for a nap before my mom gets home and starts running around the house like a crazy woman.
