Chapter 4
Katrina’s POV
I am so sad to see Rene hurting so much and not be able to help him. I feel so helpless. I who was never able to feel things before am so full of emotion now that I hate it. Its killing me to see Cali suffer and now Rene is suffering to. Their mom seems to be in denial.
Cali still hasn’t snapped out of it. I’m not sure how long she will last. It’s never happened before as far as I know. Destiny and Serenity came over this morning with breakfast so I could be with Rene.
“Baby I think you should come take a nap. You’ve been up all night.” I tell him all worried.
“I can’t leave her alone, when I don’t know what could happen to her.” he tells me.
“I’ll sit with her while you sleep and I promise to come get you if she takes a turn for the worse.” I tell him hoping that makes him go rest.
He turns to look at Cali laying there on the bed, then he look at me. “Ok I guess I can sleep for a while.”
When he left, I sat down next to Cali and put my hands on her head. I was able to locate where she was and went to her.
“Cali, are you here?” I called out as I looked around. It looked like we were in the woods somewhere.
“Katrina you came to visit me” she says coming out of some bushes.
“Cali what are you doing here?” I ask her.
“I’m here waiting for Samuel to come find Me.” she tells me.
“Cali you know he is never coming back” I tell her getting worried.
“No he will come, you’ll see. You did not feel all the love he had for me like I did” she tells me.
“Cali come back to us, Rene and your mom are worried to death.” I tell her.
“They will be fine, Rene has you and mom has Rene and you” she tells me looking sad.
Then she smiles “I have Samuel, for he will come back to me. He will find a way.” she says with conviction.
