Chapter 1
Samuel paced back and forth. There was a path worn out on the grass. Yet he was no close to finding an answer for his dilemma. He didn’t want to leave, that was plain and simple to understand. There was no way to fathom leaving without Celestial, his Cali.
It would devastate her. His only solace lay in the fact that she had yet to truly realize that he was indeed her mate. It was obvious to see that she felt a connection with him. As her shift day looms closer, the matting pull will get stronger. Yet she will not be completely sure he was her mate until the shift is complete. For it will be her wolf who will finally recognize me as its true mate.
Divinity had finally made contact and informed him that his services here, were no longer needed. Samuel closed his eyes and pulled up an image of Cali. He must return back home but what of his innocent Cali. Oh how she will suffer from his departure. His only comfort was the knowledge that she had friends that will see her through her pain. She will not be alone.
Why was he sent here in the first place? They would have known of the heart break this world would cause. He was sure that his win alongside the Omega over The Dark One in the first battle many centuries ago, had a big part in the decision. He remembered it like it was yesterday.
FLASHBACK
In the beginning of time. We coexisted on this land and all other universes. Every species lived as one. Through evolution some pure wolves turned into humans but still maintained their wolf.
Others were strictly wolf therefore retaining more power. But like in all situations, you will always have that one individual who craves more power. That one person with the need to dominate over others. This craving will slowly darken the soul. For we were meant to coexist in peace and harmony.
For without Harmony there is no Peace.
There was one Wolf in particular who started to want what he could not have. He was our Beta Jasper. He talked a couple of the wolves to fight with him and rebel against our Alpha.
One day, there was anarchy. Jasper rebelled and war ensued. The fighting became very intense and it seemed all was lost. That is until the Omega switched sides. All was revealed to her so she turned on Jasper and fought alongside us.
