A Job

We arrived at the Cafe. Shizuo opened the door for me "Thank you.." I said walking in, Shizuo then followed behind me. I looked at the sweets, and the other food on the menu.

"Hey, (Y/N) I will pay, Choose whatever you want." Shizuo then ruffled your hair. I smiled and looked at the sweets. They looked so good!

"I want at one!" I said pointing at it. Then Shizuo ordered coffee, and some fries.

We sat down and started eating. I couldn't stop thinking about Izaya.. who is he?, and why is Shizuo so angry at him? I snapped out of my thoughts when Shizuo said my name.

"(Y/N), are you sure your ok?" Shizuo looked worried.

Im ok! Just thinking.." I said looking down at my food.

"Thinking about what?" Shizuo took a sip of his coffee.

I feel nervous to tell him, he doesn't seem to really like Izaya.. but I'm curious about Izaya.

"Who is.... Izaya?" I asked Shizuo.

Shizuo looked a little angry, I probably shouldn't have asked about Izaya..

"He's a damn flea. Don't get involved with him" Shizuo face calmed, "You should get a job. Your going to need money.." Shizuo then finshed his coffee.

"Ok.." I said then Shizuo got up from his seat. "Where are you going? You still have fries left.." I picked up the little box of fries.

"You can have them" Shizuo was about to leave "Remember (Y/N) don't go near Izaya.." Shizuo left the Cafe, I can see him from the window he pulled out a cigarette and lit it, he then walked away.

I finshed eating, and left the Cafe. I wish I didn't leave my groceries.. I'm running out of money. so i need to get a job, I don't want to ask my parents for money.. they will think I can't take care of myself.

"Ok, let's look for a job!" I thought to myself. I started walking and looking around for a job. Someone has to be hiring, its Ikebukuro, this place is pretty big.

---Later in the afternoon---

"Darn it.." I said leaning on the brick wall. "I can't find one place to work.." I said thinking to myself. The sky is turning a late orange color, I haven't done anything all day.. tomorrow I have school, so I can't spend all tomarrow looking for a job.. maybe after school I will get lucky! But I still have to try looking for a job to night.

I started walking, I see Simon up ahead trying to get people to eat at Russia shuhi.

"Hi Simon!" I wave.

"Ah, Hello (Y/N) how have you been? You look Tierd." Simon stopped passing out flyers and looked at you.

"I been looking for a job all day.."

"A job you say?" Simon ask smiling.

"Un, hun" I nodded.

"Your in luck, we have an opening."

"R-really!" I said happily.

"Yes, do you want the job?" Simon asked.

"Yes! Thank you" I smiled happily.

"Very good, come back tomarrow" Simon said then he started handing out flyers.

"Ok! Bye!" I waved goodbye and headed home.

Once I got to the door of my apartment I found some groceries on the floor. "Who left groceries at my door? Did they know I lost some today or was it just really random?" I thought to myself. But I'm not complaining! I have some food! I picked up the groceries and went inside.
