Durarara x Reader

The Email

I woke up to my phone ringing. I sat up in my bed and yawned, picking up the phone and answering it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Oh, my.. (Y/N) dear, how have you been?" My mother asked.

"Good.." I told her.

"Well.. you don't sound good. Did you fail at getting a job? Are you already thinking about coming back? Hohoho!" Mother laughed.

"Actually, I do have a job. And I'm doing perfectly fine on my own!" I told her in an angry tone.

"That won't last long. Your going to end up on the streets, poor and hungry, but.. you could always come back here.." Mother told me.

"I wont! That's the last place I would go to." I said back.

"Hohoho! Then who else would you go to?" Mother asked laughing.

"Well..um.." I said trying to think.

"Hohoho! See? You hav-" I hung up on my mother and placed the phone down on the nightstand. I sighed from frustration then got up from my bed.

I decided to take a walk around Ikebukuro to get some fresh air. I put on some clothes then sat on my bed to put my shoes on, my phone then buzzed. I picked up my phone and checked it.

"An email.." I thought to myself  then read it. "A invitation to join the Dollars?!" I questioned to myself.

Buzz..buzz..

My phone buzzed agian, it was a text from Erika.

Erika: Hey! Wanna hang out with Walker and me?

(Y/n): Oh, sure. I was on my way out for a walk anyways.

Erika: Great! Meet you at the book store!

(Y/n): See you guys there!

I looked at the email agian then put my phone away. I put on my shoes and walked out the door.

***Book store***

I walked though the doors of the book store and looked around for Erika and walker. I spotted them and started walked over to them.

"Hey!" I said waving at them.

"Hai, (y/n)!" Walker greeted looking from his Manga.

"(Y/n), good to see you." Erika greeted also.

Two other men stood with them.
One with medium-length brown hair and the other is a tall man with a black beanie.

"Oh, this is to Kyohei and Saburo, Guys this is (y/n)." Erika said looking at them then back at me.

"Nice to meet you" I bowed.

"You to (y/n)." Kyohei greeted back.

"There's no need to be so formal" Saburo told me.

I remembered the email I got earlier.

"Oh, do you guys know about the Dollars invitation Email?" I asked them.

"Why do you ask?" Kyohei asked.

I pulled out my phone and showed them the email.

"A Dollars invitation!! You should totally join!!" Erika said excitedly.

"W-what?! I can't do at! It's a gang!" I said nervously.

"It's a leader less gang. You can do any thing you want in the gang!" Walker added.

"I know.. but-" I was interrupted by Erika.

"But nothing! Join! It's a lot of fun!!" Erika said grinning.

"She's probably shouldn't get involved in gangs." Kyohei told Erika and Walker. Saburo nodded.

"Aww, lame" Erika said giving a thumbs down.

"Ya, so lame" Walker said also giving a thumbs down.

***12:00 P.m***

"Later!" I said waving at them as they got in thier van.

"Bye!!" Erika and Walker shouted back then shut the van door. The van then left.

I started walking looking for someplace to eat at. I then heard some one call my name.

"(y/n)!" I turned around to see Shizuo with another man.

"Oh, Hello Shizuo" I said walking over to them.

"Hi, I'm Tom." Tom said holding out his hand.

"I'm (y/n), (l/n)." I shaked his hand.

"(Y/n), do you want to get lunch with us?" Shizuo asked.

"Oh, sure! Sounds fun." I said happily.

"Let's go to the cafe." Tom said.

"Ok, let's get going." Shizuo started walking, then I started following them.
