So let's start the story like this;

There is a secret world that humans don't fully know about. Humans think Angels are just a religious pawn in the bible but here is a tale of a little more than just an "Angel." There was a stunning, unique creature, she had black wings that looked as sharp as razors but were truly gentle, she made no sound as she walked but her voice could be sing-song soft or it could be as dangerous as a gun. As she walked down the marbled floor in headquarters she glanced up at the pictures of the top ranked Grim Reapers seeing only glares and snarls. Seeing these portraits made her frown... deep down inside her heart she wanted not to be poison in the flower, she wanted to be the petals but nobody knew but whenever she had these thoughts she'd beat them down and try to convince herself that she was happy being the demon. The Angel reached for the golden door knob of a oak door she hesitated thinking if she was ready for this when the door suddenly opened revealing a tall dark haired man with gray eyes that looked soft and welcoming but she knew that they were really hateful and evil. The man gave her a toothy grin taking her in, from her 6 inch heeled, black leather, thigh high boots to her black wavy hair that fell over her face like a curtain.

"My don't you look beautiful today! Come, come take a seat!" Said the man with a smile as he gestured to the two chairs that were in front of a white marble desk that was very neat, to the never ending tower of papers to the pencils and pens.

"I didn't come here to socialize Mr. Norlander. I just came to accept my assignment." The Angel replied as she walked and sat down in the chair on the right while Mr.Norlander sat in the big, cushiony chair behind the desk.

"Aye.. I guess you didn't come here to talk. Although I am surprised to see you so soon after the incident.." Mr. Norlander smiled when the Angel stiffened at the reminder of what happened.

The Angel watched with sharp eyes as the man leaned back into his chair. "I do not need you to remind me of my stupidity."

"Why not? It was so funny seeing all that pain in just one creature" His smile vanishes as he looks over at her "I never understood why you did it for it was the stupidest thing that our kind can do..."

"Shut up and give me my assignment already." She snapped. Mr. Norlander put his hands up in defense but then nodded with a sigh. He pulled a paper from the leaning tower of papers and looked it over before handing it to her.

"You know what to do and this time don't mess up, Grace." He snapped his fingers making a purple cloud of dust rush up into her face making her blink. When she opened her eyes again she was outside of the building.

Grace sat on her black cloud watching her assignment and took notes on it. Actually, she took notes on him. She knew his name, his favorite thing to do, the type of music he listens too, she even knew his schedule! The more she watched him the more she learned. Well after a week of studying this boy she was confident that she would collect this boy's soul. With an evil grin she stood up on her cloud and used her black wings to fly swiftly but silently down to Earth where she sat perched on a lamp post waiting. Grace watched as different cars drove by then disappear into the night but none of them were the one she was waiting for. When she finally was starting to grow impatient, she spotted an old, muddy, red truck about to drive by. She smiled wickedly and jumped into the center of the road and watched the headlights grow closer and closer.
