Emily POV
Last time I was awake I was in Pennsylvania and now I'm wake AGAIN and I was on a Pegasus's back and I'm in Sacramento now it's a long walking way and in about 3-4 hours I will be able to shadow travel again.
"So we are walking again" I say
"Who has blue food" Clara said
I dug into my backpack me and Clara has been best friends since we were 2 and if she ask for blue food she won't shut up until she gets blue food. I found a blue crushed cupcake and I gave it to Clara
"Here you go Clara" I say
"IT HAS CHOCOLATE CHIPS BLUE CHOCOLATE CHIPS" Clara said she made me jump I got really scared
"Clara calm down calm, calm, calm" I say
"there blue chocolate chips I can't help myself" Clara said and we kept walking I think after all of that sleeping I think I can shadow travel far without thinking I grabbed both Clara and Mya's arm and shadow traveled the shadows surrounded us. Once the shadows started to clear I didn't pass out.
"Emily what did you think you were doing you just woke up from a really long nap and you are only putting yourself in more danger" Clara said
"I don't care I just wanted to get to our location faster since we only have 3 days until we have to return home for the school year," I say they looked at me weirdly "I've been counting"
"Clara where are we" Mya says
Clara looks at her GPS
"Bakersfield Emily you shadow traveled to far your making really big jumps any more jumps your going to end up hurting yourself and your abilities" Clara said
"How about I just call my zombie chauffeur" I said
"Wait you have a zombie chauffeur" Mya said
"Yea you get that stuff when your a relative of Hades" I say
I whistle and I summon my OWN chauffeur my dad has his own I have mine
a old looking 80's car arrives and a man comes out of the car "are you and your friends coming madam" Tyler the zombie says and he's French with a French accent
"Yea Tyler" I say and we get in the back seat of the car "so where to madam" Tyler says
"Um" I look at Clara
"Sherman oaks" Clara said
"That's a 45 hour drive are you sure" Tyler said
"Yea" I say
Right before we drive trucker sticks his hand out over his shoulder
"Hand it over" Tyler said
I dig in my pocket and hand him 3 drachmas
"And the tip" Tyler said and I handed him 2 drachmas
"Thank you we'll be on our way"
"Does he always do this" Mya whispered in my ear
"Yep only when there's guest" I whispered in response
I see Clara staring at the floor I know something is not okay about her
"Clara are you okay" I ask
"No I'm not I had this dream last night my grandmother talked to me she said 'when I stopped the bus I had something very important to tell you and you don't listen' and she said I'm just like my mother when my grandmother told my mom not to marry my dad and that I don't listen to what my grandmother says and she also told me that someone we thought as a friend or partner is going to betray us that got me really worried" Clara said
"Did she say anything else" I asked
"No the dream stopped after she said that" Clara said
Someone you thought as a friend or a partner is going to betray you a voice said in my head
This is starting to worry me I was a lot more social then my brother so I had at least 10 more friends than he does so I don't which friends but all I know that friend isn't Clara she's way too loyal to do that to us
"Who else has a rash on there arm" Clara said scratching her arm
"No" I say
I can't keep thinking about this we need to focus on getting to Mya's brother.
