bus stations come with trouble

Clara POV
So we got to the bus stop it was 6 in the morning I had my red sweatshirt with the hoodie on, well Jakes red sweatshirt I took it from him three days ago and never gave it back.

"1 ticket to Pittsburgh please" I said And the man at the station gave us our ticket and looked at us weirdly

"Are you kids a little to young to be traveling by your self" he said

"No we are 15" I said and we walked off. It leaves in 45minutes I see vending machine and go and get some food I look back and then the man at the ticket booth is staring at me and I focus on getting my food food first and then worry about the man I get a bag of chips I go back to the seat next to Mya. I look back at the man and he was gone. I turned my head and I saw him standing there it scared me so DAM bad (A/N😂😂DAM)

"Clara Elizabeth Jackson" he said which was kind of creepy that he knows my name

"I see you brought a friend" he said and looked at Mya and Mya looked scared

"And who are you exactly" I stood up from my seat hisssss he hissed and I started to back away and I reached for my pocket to get my sword marker. The man grabbed my wrist and threw me to wall behind him and I fell to the ground and I see Mya with her sword out and the monster turns into this big manticore and black spots started to take over my vision and then my whole world went black.

Mya POV
I see Clara gets thrown on the wall behind the man and then he started transforming into a monster that still has a human face he had the body of a lion a huge lion and has a spiky leathery tail I took out my sword for once I realized I had no one to help me Clara was down and hurt but I had to defeat this monster without Clara. I stood there with my sword out ready to fight then I remember what Clara told me

Distract your opponent or trick your opponent then you can attack

I back away slowly towards my backpack. I had some food in my backpack hopefully I can distract it with food I mean it's just a huge lion with a tail. I slowly opened my backpack and I made eye contact with the monster. I found some food it was a bag of Baloney(literally) I grab from Clara's chair a bag of chips. I slowly move the bag side to side in front of me and after a couple of seconds I throw the bag making the monster go after it I quickly grab some Ambrosia from Clara's backpack and I run over to Clara and started feeding her some ambrosia I look over at the monster and he is starting to eat the chicken I only had a certain amount of time
"Come on Clara wake up"I say I turn around and the monster started to look at me so I back away slowly from Clara, the monster kept coming towards me I had my sword ready then the monster started running towards me I have my sword held out in front of me the monster ran fast and I close my eyes and them three seconds later the monster didn't charge I open my eyes and I see that the monster was penetrated by my sword I held out in front of me and then he disintegrated into gold dust I look over at Clara and she was gone I felt a hand on my shoulder I got scared I turn around to see Clara pretty scary her black hair was all over he face she looked like the girl from the ring
"Clara are you okay" I said

"Yep and what you did was pretty stupid you can't just stand there and close your eyes and hold your sword out in front of you and waiting for it to get stabbed," Clara said

"Okay so that's all I need to improve" I said

"Let's get going I don't want to deal with anymore monsters let go get some food" Clara said she went to go to her seat and said
"Where's my food"
"What food?"
"my bag of chips I had then right here" she said and I realized that I had given Clara's chips to the monster

"I...um...gave it to the monster so he can be distracted while I get you some ambrosia to heal you" I said nervously no one steals Clara's food one time a kid from Hermes cabin thought it would be funny if he took Clara's pizza slice and long story short he ended up in the infirmary

"Okay luckily I have more money I will just get something from the vending machine again" she said

"I have some food in my backpack if you want some" I said

"No that is your food and if I did eat it your food will be gone" she said and went to the vending machine it's weird no matter how much food she puts in her mouth she stays skinny like she doesn't get fat (that's some amazing skills Clara has) while Clara was getting her food I walked back to my seat and started eat my sandwich I have in my bag and Clara come with three bags of chips in her hands and stuff the three in her backpack I look at her strangely
"What there for the road" she said and grabbed two more dollars from her blue backpack and went to get more chips(like always).
