Lucy's PoV

I woke up the next day in my hideout. Is it too early to be telling their Master? Maybe I should only tell half of it? That's still a lot though. My queries about revealing my secrets take hold of me as I put on my clothing. These consist of a purple, long sleeved sweater, black mini skirt, tights and long, black boots. (Like the outfit Erza wore on the GMG arc, when she talked to Gray about confessing to Juvia.) I also always have my hair down and hide a small knife in the waist band of my skirt. Can never be too protective.

I head off to Fairy Tail as my questions still fly around my brain. Suddenly, I accidently bump into someone. "Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I step back, looking up at the tall, muscular figure. When I see their face, my stomach falls. H-How did they find me this early? N-Not yet I-I just got her back! I cry in my head, not being able to say them aloud. The terrifying man looks down at me, his bald head shining in the sun. At that instant, he notices me and has a shocked expression. It soon turns into a menacing and evil smirk. "Well, hello Miss Heartfilia. It's been a while. Your father wants you to return home now. It's not safe for you to be wondering around out here, all by yourself." He steps closer as I step back. "I'm safer here than I am with him." I say, my voice dripped with hatred. "Oh but, you're not." He smirks more and I turn to start running.

Going as fast as my legs can carry me, I run in the opposite direction of the guild. I can't let them find her. She has to live her life that she's made for herself! Soon enough, I come to an ally way. Unfortunately, this ally way happens to have a dead end. I'm trapped, just perfect. I sigh and turn around to find the bald ogre standing behind me. "Come now Miss. No need to worry. Your father truly wants to see you again." A crazed look plays on his face. "That's only so he can beat me again." I mumble out, reaching to the back of my skirt. The ogre walks closer and closer until my back is flat on the wall. "Time to say good bye, Miss Lucy." He smiles manically. As his arms grow closer, I pull out my knife and slash his arm with it. He screams in pain and collapses to his knees. I take this chance to escape and run for the hills, these hills being Fairy Tail.

When I get to the guild, I burst the doors wide open, making everyone that was in there look my way. Luckily, most of them were still passed out from the party last night, so Mira and Makarov were the only ones who saw me. "Is Erza here yet?!" I shout in a serious tone. "No. Oh my Mavis! What happened to you Lucy?! Is that blood?!" Mira squeals and faints at the site. "You want to tell me what you're holding back now?" Makarov states, as if he already knew the answer. "Your office." I mutter and run upstairs. When we get there, I look down at my sweater. Wow. I didn't realise I cut him that deep. That's why everyone was staring at me. I sweat drop to myself.

Minutes later, Makarov is at his desk, waiting for me to start talking. "So what should I start with?" I ask, sitting in his chair and looking down at my twirling thumbs. "Let's start from the beginning. Where do you come from?" He asks. "The H-Heartfilia mansion." I croak, getting tears in my eyes.

Makarov- "What is your magic?"

Me- "I said I don't have one."

Makarov- "Why do I sense such a blockage from you?"

Me- "I have a spell on me. It's to hide what my body holds."

Makarov- "And, what does your body hold?"

Me- "If I tell you, you'll lock me away."

Makarov- "What makes you think that?"

Me- "I only hold evil in me. That's why I lock my magic away. If I use it, something horrible will come with it."

Makarov- "So you do have magic."

Me- "Yes, but like I said, I can't use it."

Makarov- "Will you tell me what it is?"

Me- "C-Celestial spirit magic." I get my keys that I hide in my skirt. "Will you stop the protection spell for me? Just for a minute?" Makarov gets up from his chair and walks up to me. "A-Are you sure you want to s-see that?" I ask, more tears flowing down my face, but my bangs covering them. "Yes." He states seriously. I stand up and put my keys on the desk. I mutter something under my breath and felt the air of the outside world surrounding me, something that I don't usually feel outside of my prison. But, then I feel the pain and suffering that led me to having this awful protection spell. Makarov gasps in shock as he see what I look like. My whole body is covered in bruises, I have scars and bandages covering worser wounds. "How long have you been like this?" He gasps, looking at me with pity and awe. "S-Since my mother died." I stutter. "How long has it been since it stopped?" He asks again. "A month. Every time I escape, I get taken back every single time, and they worsen the wounds." I croak from all the tears. "These aren't the most painful, are they?" He asks, sympathy in his eyes. "N-No." I simply state. "Show me." I lift my top, only a little, and the worst one of all comes into the light. He gasps even more. It's a horrible scar that hold one of my most painful memories. It is what makes me stop using my magic. It's what parted me from my sister, all those years ago.

Feeling pained, I quickly put the spell back on me and pull my top down again. "Well, I don't know what to say. Is that why you had blood all over you this morning?" Makarov sits back in his chair. "I was attacked by one of my father's henchmen." I too, take a seat. "You mean your father did this?!" He slams his fist on the table. "Yes... He's the reason my mother died. He's an abusive, evil and greedy man, and I do not intent on returning to him." I reply, a bit jumpy from his sudden movement. "Good. I'll make sure to keep this between us, but you should tell Erza." He calms back down.  "I can't. If I did that, she'd march right up to his doorstep and give him exactly what he wants." I stand up, wiping the tears from my face. "And what is that?" Makarov asks. "His daughters." I walk through the doors, my sweater fully clean now.

Time skip~everyone's at the guild.

I'm sitting with my sister and her team, when one of them asks me something. "Hey! Why don't you join the guild?!" Natsu jumps on the table. "How? I don't have a magic." I giggle. "Easy, you can help Mira out behind the bar." Gray sits back in his chair. "Oh that'd be great! Mira-San always has so much work to do! And now that she has her own magic back, she'll be going on missions with her siblings." Wendy squeals, Natsu still standing on the table. "It would help her out a lot. Why not?" Erza pats me on the back. "Yeah! Why not? Okay, I need to get my guild mark first!" I cheer.

We head over to Mira. "Mira. Lucy's joining the guild. Can you do her guild mark?" Erza asks her. "Of course Erza. Where and what colour, Lucy?" Mira smiles at me, pulling a stamp from under the bar. "On my hand and in pink, please!" I smile brightly back at her. "Do you want to go on a mission with us?" Natsu asks, grabbing my arm and pulling me to the request board. "I don't think so. It'll be dangerous and I can't protect myself." I smile at them. "Okay! We'll see you when we get back." Erza hugs me before I go to the bar and they go on mission.

I go up to Mira and lean on the bar. "Hey Mira! Can I work with you behind the bar?" I ask, now sitting on the bar. "Sure Lucy. I'll go to master and get you a work schedule." Mira smiles as she runs up the stairs to master's office. Sitting on the bar with my legs swinging, a girl with blue hair runs up to me. "Hey Lucy! I'm Levy McGarden, but you can call me Levy." The short girl with a flat chest looks up at me. I hop down to her level. "It's nice to meet you Levy-chan!" I wave and her face immediately turns red. "L-Levy-chan?" She asks. "Is that okay?" I look down shyly. "Of course Lu-chan! We'll be best friends!" Levy jumps on me. "Yay!" I cheer, a huge smile on my face as I hugged her back.
