Harry rummaged through the fridge in the kitchen of Niall's apartment. His eyes scanned the various types of food in the fridge. He wasn't necessarily in the mood for lunch, just a quick snack was all. With his free hand he started looking deeper into the fridge for something, anything.

"You still there Harry?" Liam said through Harry's phone which was being held up to his ear with his other hand.

"Yeah," Harry frowned at the sight of moldy, half-bitten apple before throwing it away.

"Alright. As I was saying, I went to lunch with Louis yesterday after the shoot and he's been talking to Niall so he told me what was going on. Why haven't you called?" Liam questioned.

"Oh," Harry paused. "Sorry Liam. I was going to call you sooner or later. I just needed to spend some time with Niall. We still haven't figured out how this is going to work."

"Everything has been good between you two then?"

"Oh yeah. Definitely," Harry smiled, thinking about the past few nights that brought a deep pink blush to his cheeks.

"Where is he now? Is he there with you?"

A few strands of Harry's hair fell forward. Harry brushed them back, continuing to closing the fridge and then going to look in the cabinets. He managed to find a bag of chips.

"No, he's at work. His parents still don't know. It's going to be complicated," Harry sighed, walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch. He turned on the TV and opened the bag of chips. He listened to Liam speak again. Harry reassured Liam that everything was fine and that Niall has even taken him out to a few dates.

"How sweet. I have to go now, somebody's at the door. Make sure to call me soon. And also come back as soon as possible, okay?" Liam said. Harry responded with an okay and I will call you, don't worry before hanging up. He sat in the living room watching a movie for a half an hour before he picked up the sound of the door unlocking.

"Niall!" Harry exclaimed, smiling every time his boyfriend walked through that door after work.

"Hey," Niall grinned, putting his stuff to the side and kicking the door closed as Harry walked towards him, cupping his face and kissing him. They stood there for a moment, holding each other until Harry pulled away and admired Niall's face.

Harry's smile soon faded into a frown when he saw that Niall's eyes were glossy. He looked like he was going to cry but he was trying so hard to hold the tears back. Niall quickly noticed the changed in Harry's features and it wasn't hard to guess that Harry was catching on.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked.

And that was it.

The way Harry said those two words, softly and gently. The way Harry's green eyes looked at him, filled with concern and worry. And then thinking how Harry came all this way to get Niall back. All the hard moments Niall put him through. And he was still here. He still cared.

Niall put a hand up to his face as the tears came racing down. His knees wobbled and he lost balance for a moment, kneeling down before Harry stopped both of them - using this strength to keep them from fully crashing down to the floor in a  painful way.

Niall pulled his hands back, covering his face and sobbing. Harry's mouth slightly opened as his mind scattered and looked for something to say. His heart broke at how beaten down Niall looked. How tired and sad he was.

"Niall. . ."Harry said calmly, keeping his voice from trembling. His hands grabbed Niall's wrists and pulled them away from Niall's face. Niall's gaze remained on the floor, refusing to look up at Harry.
