Early in the mornings, barely of the Sanses were usually up. That is, except for a choice few that either were awake because of insomnia, regular scheduling, or simply because they didn't need to rest. As for this morning, like any other, Underswap was up early.
The Blueberry was in the kitchen, trying his best to prepare a sweet breakfast for everyone. Although it hadn't been long since the line-up, he still felt he should prioritize making everyone friends. And what was a better way to make people friends than having a perfect breakfast with pancakes, eggs and toast, and some chocolate cookies? He'd prefer tacos, but considering he's seen the others eat food items that weren't tacos, he'd better learn to make more kinds of food! He was the only one to actually cook properly and clean around the place.
"Nnnngh! Just... a little... furtherrr!" Swap grunted as he reached for the cookie jar that was up in a cupboard too high for him to reach. He'd been at this for a long time, but he wanted to treat his friends so badly he kept going despite it. "Come oooon! The Superb Sans can do thiiiis!"
Whilst the blue-caped skeleton was having his height be a disadvantage to him, Classic stepped into the culinary dwelling. He went unnoticed as he walked towards the fridge on the other side of the kitchen, opposite to Swap, and yawned as he took out a bottle of ketchup for the morning before he'd take another nap. Usually he wasn't up so early... Maybe it was just a small fit of insomnia for him?
Whatever reason that Classic had to be awake, he'd noticed Swap's struggle. That cheerful skeleton reminded him of his own brother, which would make sense considering where they both came from. And, if he was anything like his brother, the Blueberry wouldn't want help, so he decided to use his magic without being noticed.
Classic let his right eye glow a soft blue as he raised his hand to lift his swapped self into the air slightly when he jumped to try and grab the cookies. Of course, with that small effort, Swap's goal was achieved. Both of them were happy about this.
"Yes yes! Finally, the Superb Sans can use the cookies to create the best breakfast ever conceived by monster-kind!" Swap celebrated, bouncing up and down happily like the child he was. Classic chuckled at the joy, which finally had attention brought to him. "Oh! Classic, Classic! Look here! I have gotten the cookies from the cupboard all by myself! And to think that I was doubted!"
"heh... good job, buddy. i'm proud of you." Classic smirked with his usual lazy grin and walked over to pat the other skeleton on the head, getting an adorable 'squee' sound from him that only made the blue-hooded skeleton feel even better for helping. "i'm gonna go take a nap now... you enjoy your cookin' or whatever you're doin'."
"Right, right! You go on ahead, lazy me! Meanwhile, I shall go on to make all of us breakfast! Mweh heh heh heh!" The Blueberry hugged to Classic suddenly, then quickly released him before a hug back could have been thought of and ran off to a nearby counter to place the cookie jar on. He was excited as ever for this breakfast. It was sweet.
"mhm... guess i'll be back in later." Classic sighed contently as he stepped out of the kitchen, opening his ketchup bottle and taking a swig from it. 'good job, me.' The lazy skeleton congratulated himself mentally. 'looks like you got at least one guy that likes ya here...'
((Look at those two cuties~ >w< Honestly, I'm not sure what to think of this, but I think it turned out well. And yes, Classic's speech is purposefully lowercase. I find it gives him a little more uniqueness! Though, if it annoys you, let me know and I'll gladly change it in further chapters!))
