Chapter Two

Zetrina's POV

"Hey! Are you even listening to me?" Sofia asked.

"I am sorry. It's just that my mind is full of things as of the moment."

"And what would that be?"

"About Dad's birthday. I am sure my brother is there so I am having second thoughts if I am going or not," I replied.

"This is about your Dad's birthday. So what if your brother's there? Four years, Zet. I guess that is long enough. Plus it is not your brother's whole fault. Just forgive him already and the girls would be there too. It has been months since we've been together."

"It is easy to forgive but it is not easy to forget. Knowing that this is a big event I am pretty sure he would be there. I can't face him. Not yet," I said.

"For now, smile is your weapon. Show him what he lost. You might not forget but those events that happened four years ago happened to test how strong you are. And I want to congratulate you since you proved to yourself how strong you are."

"Thank you, Sof. For being at my side whenever I need you," I said full of sincerity.

"Don't mention it," she said while waving her hands infront of me.

"C'mon let us stop this drama. You want ice cream?" I asked while standing up.

"Sure. I want chocolate."

I stood up from my table and went towards my mini refrigerator. I got one chocolate ice cream for Sofia and one cookies and cream for me. I went to get a spoon and went back in bare foot.

"I still can't believe you. You are a CEO for tuna's sake and this is what you are wearing in your office? What are the use of your dresses at home if you keep wearing pajamas in your office?" She said while putting a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth.

"I only wear dresses if I have important meetings and also you're a CEO and you still act like a kid sometimes," I said while emphasizing the word important.

"You're weird."

"I'm awesome."

"So are you saying that you are going to kidnapped me?" I asked.

"Yeah," Daniel replied.

"Seriously? A kidnapper never tells his victim that."

"Whatever. I am different. I am a kidnapper with class. Anyways, can you please hurry up? We're so late," he said.

"It's not my fault that you didn't tell me a head of time that there would be a photo shoot today."

"It's not my fault either that two of my models have to go home for family emergency," Daniel said.

Daniel drives the car towards the beach. Since it is summer time we have to make a summer cover for the magazine. We've been talking non-stop until we arrive safely in the shooting area. We went in the tent and I can't help but wince because of the screams. I look around to find where the sound came from.

"OH MY TUNA!" I screamed. I can't believe this!

"What are you doing here? I thought you are busy?" I added.

"Is that one way of saying that you don't want us here?" Amanda said.

"No. No. No. Gahd no," I said.

"No hugs for us?" Leva asked.

I went near them and hug each of them.

"How's Theo?" I asked Sylin. Theo is the 6 months old baby of Sylin.
