His chest was rising and falling on my back, I could feel his breath. After everything I told him the night before, he didn't want me out of his sight. I felt comfortable sleeping with him, I guess. If my brother trusts him, then so do I.

His arms often squeezed me into his chest tighter.

The sunlight would filter through making the room light up, and making Ducati stretch. I stretched my legs then arms and it woke him.

"Oh, morning." He moved my hair aside so he could rest his head on my shoulder as I was propped up on my elbow. He was comfortable, and seemed confident in a good way.

"Morning. Sleep good?" I asked, not wanting to be rude. He nodded and then gave me a squeeze then went over to the balcony. The sun on his bare chest was stunning. I blinked a few times to get my sight clear, he looked at me and smiled a killer smile.

"Well, we should get you ready for your brother to come over," he went over to his closet and put a black hoodie on with a pair of tan pants. Then he through me one of his baggy shirts that I quickly changed into.

"He can't know you actually 'slept' with me," he laughed, "if he does he might flip thinking we did it."

I gasped then shook my head, "uh, no. We didn't and aren't." My hands rubbed on my thighs.

"Maybe. You'll probably change your mind," he talked like it was so casual. "Come on, they're waiting." He grabbed my hand and led me out, then let go and put his hand on the small of my back and pushed me gently infront of him.

I heard voices, David and Ryker. Instantly, when I heard Ryker, I ran and I found the voices. They were in the kitchen, and when I saw my brother I ran and hugged him tight.

"I missed you, and I was scared," I say as he pulls me back to look at my face.

"It's okay. You're safer here. Way safer. Trust me," he kissed the top of my head then pushed me aside playfully so he could finish his talk with David.

"Ahh, Hayden. Good morning darling. Do you want breakfast? We have all the foo in the world, maybe. We might have forgotten to get Oreos. Do you like Oreos? If so, we can always get some. I'm rambling aren't I? I am. Okay, well Brooklyn, go get her food." David shooed Brooklyn away and I slowly followed behind. Then I realized I should've thanked David.

"David! Thank you by the way. And yes Oreos are great," I smiled then turned around and found myself lost. Which way did Brooklyn go? I took a left and it led me to the backyard.

"Well, looks like I'm just gonna sit out here for a bit," I say as I walk around the pool and look at the distance view. I decided to put my feet in the water, and find that it's heated. So I dangle my legs in the water and swish them around, looking up at the sky every so often.

After about...maybe a half an hour, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Thought you wanted to eat?" Brooklyn set the plate down next to me, with coffee. I laughed then got embarrassed.

"I did. I kinda uh..got lost. It's a big home. And thank you," I took a sip of my coffee and it was just how I always liked it. He sat next to me and put his legs in, then layed down on the patio.

"Ya know, your brother wants you to go to his new home," he lifts one eyebrow to see my reaction.

"Why?" But what I really wanted to say was yes, please can we? Can we go now? I'll go. I miss him. I need answers. I need family.

"He wants to spend another night with you before you guys start to not see each other that often," he shrugged. I nodded then looked at the reflection in the pool.

"When?"

"Tonight. Last night," he winced when I shot him a glare. The way he kept making it sound like we needed to be separated. I sighed, then finished my pancakes that he made. I drank my coffee then got up and put the dishes on the bar table. Brooklyn's eyes followed me around, while he was still laying down.

"Tori. Alaska. Shit! Where are they?" I walk over to him and cross my arms.

"They are fine."

"Well I need to see them. I need my friend.." I paced back and forth infront of him and waited till he stood up and I followed.

We went up a spiral staircase, took a right down a hallway, the a left into a room. The room was white, with black accents of things. Tori was tapping her hand on the desk and petting Alaska. They both looked nervous. Before I ran up to Tori I saw someone else in the room, and it was a guy.

"Who is he?" I whispered to Brooklyn. He just shook his head and walked in, so I walked over to Tori and hugged her. Her face brightened up when she saw me and we both exchanged what we wanted to say.

"Did he do anything to you?" I whispered in her ear, and she nodded. My face instantly was furious.

"What did he do?"

"He made me sleep with him...I didn't want to. I wasn't comfortable. We didn't even meet or talk he just grabbed me and took me to bed..." I put my hand on her shoulder then got up and walked over to the dude.

I pushed his chest roughly and got all up in his personal space.

"What the fvck do you think you're doing with her?! She wasn't comfortable! How dare you touch her and make her sleep with you! Don't ever touch her again!" I kicked him in the balls and he fell toward the ground. I gasped then walked backwards.

"Hayden! Hayden, I could've handled it," Brooklyn grabbed me by the shoulders and sat me down on the desk chair.

Tori came over and thanked me and we both hugged then we both hugged Alaska. The dude on the ground was moaning in pain and grabbing his balls.

"Luke! Why couldn't you have been nicer and a little more of a gentlemen like you are! You can't just take this girl to bed! Sounds and looks like a raper, no wonder she was scared shitless!" Brooklyn was shouting at him now, then ordered him to get out of the house for a little bit.

I closed my eyes and put my face in the palm of my hands. I felt a cool hand on my shoulder and looked up to see Brooklyn looking into my eyes.

"Don't worry. Everything is gonna be fine. Tori, I'm so so sorry. You don't deserve that. Tonight you guys can share the guest room. Again, I'm sorry," he hugged Tori, which made me a little jealous, but then we were walking out of the room and going into the living room.

"Hayden," it was my brother speaking.

"Yes?"

"Did you wanna stay here tonight, or come to my place with Tori for one last night?" His voice sounded dead, tired, empty.

"Ryker what's wrong..?" I walked to him slowly and he put his face in his hands and began trembling.

"Mom and dad got my girlfriend..they...sold her to one of their dealers and now she's dead...gone forever. I couldn't even protect her or say any last words!! I can't believe myself, I can't believe I wasn't there to protect her..." He sat down on the couch and wiped away the tears.

I sat down with him, "Ryker I'm so sorry...I really am. That's terrible. I hate them. I hate them so much. I have no idea why...but you can't hate yourself. You were busy, it's not your fault. You can't be with her 24/7 to protect her.." I rubbed his back and he sighed and nodded.

"Ugh, lets get to my place. Get your dogs and Tori...thank you David and Brooklyn for keeping them safe. I'll have them back by tomorrow morning.."

David and Brooklyn both said sorry then we all hugged.

We followed my brother to his car and got in. As we drove to his new place, I could see his hands turn white as he gripped the steering wheel harder than ever.
