Freshman Year
I remember seeing him in that dingy desk. All silent and delicate, like a fragile white dove. Flying to my face, and being blessed with seeing this vulnerable creature. I could recall him as my own little beautiful creature.
Fairly I never imagined him sitting by himself writing something down in this tiny brown journal. I wonder what he's writing down. Maybe something artistic, or maybe just writing down his assignments of the day. I only came here to pick up my Chemistry homework. I never meant to accidently sneak a glance through the glass window of the Chemistry lab door. It seems somewhat stalkerish. But as he sits there in his black t-shirt, I ponder at his features.
Blue eyes like an ocean in a storm. With dirty yellow hair lying flat of his symmetrical forehead. His broad shoulders shifting a bit while writing. And his large hands wrapped around a ball-point pen.
He seemed somehow content at the moment. So concentrated on that piece of paper.
Slowly I take the rest of my thoughts and keep them contained inside my brain. I think I'll just wait on my homework for the time being. I begin to shuffle my things in order before leaving my peaceful view. Before I go, I notice around his neck a golden necklace with a small circular charm on it. Wait I think it's a locket. Hmm...
I start to walk away to my locker on the second floor and wonder along the way. I never really paid attention to it before. What was the locket about, because there's always pictures inside those things.
As I round the corner of where my locker was located.
