I was stuck between believing him or going back to bed. It could be a prank call right? He did sound pretty convincing though.
I decided to go with my gut feeling ; which was to get out of the house . Then I heard a Knock on the door.
I froze , Are those the people he warned me about knocking on the door ? What should I do ?
I heard a noices coming from the door . Are they trying to break in ? In this moment I realized that I had to figure out where to hide at . Under the bed ? No that would be the first place they look Bathroom ? No the floor creeks to much.
I heard my front door open and I knew then I had to hide quickly. I ran into the laundry room and hid behind the dryer. Thank God I'm think enough.
The foot steps were coming closer and closer . Then they stopped. I heard a man and a women talking.
"Are we too late ?" The women asked
" I don't know but-" the man was cut off by a ringing phone.
Luckily it was his , I couldn't hear what he was saying because he has step away.
"Who was that on the phone ?" the women asked when the man had came back into the room
"It was the cheif , I just had orders to kill her on sight ."
What ? Kill me ? Why ? What did I do ? I've never been in trouble before .
"What made him change his mind ?" the girl asked .
"I don't know for sure but he said something about if we knew what she is capable of or if we knew how much information she has on us..."
I stopped listening , I started thinking , What do I know ? What am I capable of ? I'm only 22 years old , shoo I don't even know myself and what I'm capable of. Why does the chief want me dead ?
Then I heard something that the women said . It caught my attention.
"I thought he said that she couldn't have anymore visions . I thought she thought they were dreams . "
