Snippy and Snappy were two brownies who lived next door to one another . They were bad- tempered fellows , always did everything together if possibly could.
" Let's go blackberrying today ,Snippy ," said Snappy one morning .
'Very well ,"said Snippy."I shall make a blackberry pudding .'
"Oh ,a blackberry tart is much nicer," said Snappy
"No,a pudding is better ,"said Snippy ."You get lots of juice in a pudding - but if you make an open tart of blackberries you don't get any juice ."
They quarrelled all the way to the woods about puddings and tarts- and then they began to pick their blackberries .
