Why do we fear what lies beneath?
Is thine blood pumped by a heart?
Do your veins carry supliments, ready to do their part?
Or is it simply lusted for, by the beast?Words come and go as they please,
Some choose to have no meaning
But when words are spoken against another's
The true natures begin gleaningTis not a note that many can take,
Understanding what lies below
Words form sentences that can influence emotions
That, even the Great Ones knowBut what is it that makes us feel?
Toss and turn amongst our sleep
The wounds we allowed to be inflicted, will they heal?
Or will we continue following them, like sheep?Stand up to what deplores you,
Show no mercy to the undefeated
Do not let words harm you
Fight back until the enemy has retreated.
