My breaths were heavy and getting fast by every second. My hands were shaking. I know that I am having a panic attack right now. My brother, Arion, held my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze to calm me down. I saw the pebbles on the pathway shaking along with me.

I need to calm down. So I took slow heavy breaths through my nose and closed my eyes.

The iron gates in front of us opened widely letting us view the forest in deep green and trees standing tall. A vintage car was waiting for us along with a very attractive guy wearing dark jeans and plain maroon shirt. His whole demeanor shouted authority though much less of an alpha.He approached us and gave my brother a formal handshake and introduction.

"I am Jared Collins, Beta of the Dark Moon pack", he turned to me and offered his hand as well. I stared at him suddenly feeling scared. I know he's not a bad person but I have some issue being touched by a stranger or by anyone aside from my brother.
The smooth skin between his eyes creased. I gasped stepping backwards thinking that he might get angry and I don't do well with angry people.

"Sorry, my sister, well... she, uh, she's not good with strangers", Arion tugged me back to my position smiling at the beta. Jared pulled his hand back to himself and scratched the back of his head giving me an apologetic smile.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare her. C'mon, Alpha Sebastian has been waiting for you", he gestured us to the car. He opened the car door for me and I whispered a thank you. He just smiled and walked to the other part of the car taking the driver's seat. My brother settled in front of me.

I was staring out the window watching the trees we passed by as my brother and Jared talked about the pack. I learned about the basic rules of the pack as jared explained it to Arion. As we neared the entrance of the pack's town, I saw some shadows lurking behind the trees. My eyes went wide and I felt a swift rush of alarm not knowing what they were.

I was just going to ask the beta but we already stopped at the mansion. A new wave of anxiety clenched my insides.

What if they don't want us here?

"Aria, let's go", Arion held out his hand for me to take as a stepped out of the car. "Relax", he whispered. I nodded but the same feeling was still there. Jared guided us through the mansion stopping at the very big double doors.

I felt my wolf perked up her ears as we smelt chocolate and vanilla, a very sweet smell indeed. I looked around to see where the sweet smell came from. My wolf felt excitement, wagging her tail and walked in circles. I was still hunting for that smell and closed my eyes to concentrate when suddenly I heard a growl somewhere near. The sound brought my senses to a tingling sensation. It sounded so good and ...

SEXY...

I was still standing at the same spot and noticed my brother and Jared already stepped inside the room in front of me. Everything seemed to go in slow motion when I lifted my eyes to meet a pair of yellow eyes mixed with black. The most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. Then it hit me, the smell and the nice sound were coming from him. He was standing behind a large desk and he was gripping the sides of the table really tight that it started to have some cracks on it.

"Mate!", in a flash, the man was in front of me staring deeply into my eyes. Unconsciously, I took a step back from his sudden nearness. It saw a hint of confusion, hurt and then anger on his face. I swallowed hard taking another step backward but he grabbed my arm and pulled me into him making my chest touched his hard rock body. I felt the pleasureCoursing through my veins like kerosine on my blood. Burning and eating up on me.

"Mine!"
