As I walk into second period science class everyone is crowed by the window. Mrs. Jocis calls them back to their seats but let's me look because I'm late. There are two lists of students. One list is titled: Australia and one is: Alaska. I look for my name I got Australia. So did Jackson, I like him. I've liked him since second grade. He is and amazing person and he's not popular so maybe someday I have a chance, to be, you know...
Well the trip this weekend so
I should probably go home and pack, not now because I have like 5 more class periods. As walk to my chair in the back of the room, by Jackson, he looks at me and smiles. I turned red in the face, but I smiled back.
"Ok class, as you saw earlier we are splitting up to go on trips to two amazing places on this planet!" Mrs. Jocis begins. "We are going to be leaving tomorrow afternoon so you can have and excused absence tomorrow so you can pack, but be back to school at 4:00 sharp. The bus will take us to the airports. Right now I'm going to tell you who your buddy is, stick near your buddy on the bus, on the plane, and when we say, 'buddy up!' One the trip." She finished.
I sat in awe over all that woman had just spoken to me.
"And we have Skye and Jackson." She finished off the list.
