"I can't believe we're finely here!" I say as we pull into the campus. It looks just as amazing in person as it did on the brochures and online. The bulidings look old but yet still have that elegant look about them at the same time. The size of the campus is intimidating but hopefully I will feel right at home soon. Boy am I tired from the flight and a little jet lagged but there is no time for that so I try to shake it off.

The orientation is short and I sit alone, just like normal. A seemingling nice middle aged woman gives me the key to my dorm and sends me on my way. I already feel more freedom than I have in the last nineteen years. "I want to see your dorm before I go sweetheart. I just can't wrap my mind around the fact you are in college. My only daughter living on her own...." He goes on as they follow me carrying my bags as we navigate through the corridor.

"It's A55... we are in the B hall.." I tell them. Luckly I see a large A painted on the wall. "It's down here"  I say and they follow. Good thing I only brought some of of my favorite books, clothes and a blanket so they don't have to much to carry. afer what seems like forever we get to my dorm. I slide the key into the old wooden door, it creaks open and my dad's mouth drops open. The room is small two tiny beds and two desks. My eyes travel to the reason why my fathers mouth dropped down to the floor. One side of the room is covered in music posters, mostly bands I have never heard of, the faces on them covered in piercings and tattoos. The girl laying across the bed on her laptop has bright pink hair, eye lined with what seems like inches of black liner and her arms  covered in tattoos.

"Hey" she says and offers a smile. Her smile is quite intriguing much to my surprise. "I'm Perrie" she says and sits up. "H....Hi..I'm Taylor.." I choke and she laughs a little and stands up.

"Welcome to Oxford where we sleep all day and party all night." My dad's mouth is still hanging open and Shawn looks around uncomfortably. Perrie walks over and hugs me. I am surprised by her affection but I hug her back.

There is a knock at my door as my father and Shawn put my bags on my bed. "Come in!" Perrie yells. The door opens and two boys walk inside. Boys inside the female dorms on the first day? Maybe Oxford was a bad decision... My dad looks like he will blow up.

"Hey, you Perrie's roomie?"  The blonde boy asks. He doesn't have as many tattoos as the other boy but he has them.

Um. yes...My name is Taylor." I manage to say. "I'm Niall, you will love it here." he says with a smile despite his harsh appearance.

"I'm ready." Perrie says as she grabs her purse from the back of the her desk. My eyes shift to the brown haired boy who has a beenie on and has metal in his eyebrow and lip. My eyes move down his black band tshirt to his arms which are covered in tattoos as well. I expect him to introduce himself but he doesn't. He is definitely not as friendly as his blonde friend.

"See you around Taylor." Niall says as the three of the leave the room.

"Your getting a new dorm!" my father yells as soon as the door closes.

"No, I can't. Its fine Dad, i'm sure she wont be around much anyway."

"No way, we are going to switch now. You will not be in a room with someone who allows guys into her room, those punks at that!" he says

"Daddy...Please. let's just see how it goes. Please." I beg and he sighs

"Fine."
