We are considered holy by anyone who knows about us. Some of them call us "the angels," we are not angels. To the religious, we are "nephilim," we are definitely not. Really we aren't even sure, but if you read the modern 'vampire' books, we are probably closest to the supernatural aspects. Well, all depending who you talk to.
All of us have either a birthmark of an Aztec sun on their right hand or a moon with three stars on their left shoulder.
For my sister and me, we have cycles. Like the moon. We go through different things but they are pretty much the same. I am part wolf part human part vampire. My sister is part wolf part human. We have strong attractions to the moon and its cycles. Even our bodies change, the full moon is when we are fertile. My sister isn't that old yet, so she isn't fertile anytime. When I say fertile, I don't mean like I can go out and have sex and become pregnant. Nope. I mean I can bite someone (preferably one of us) and that how the women become pregnant. It is hard to explain, but that is what happens. My hair changes color throughout the moon cycles, but it isn't always the moon that changes my features. My eyes change with my emotions. My hair does get lighter with the moon. During the new moon, it is sort of a black color, and then during the full moon it is platinum. My sister's eyes change with the moon but her hair stays the same no matter what. My brother is part vampire part human. He is weird. He has more human on him than vampire. I can't tell you about him though. I haven't seen him since he was 7. And of course when we are eight we find out how our genes were mixed.
Some of the boys go to a institute in South Dakota. He did. Along with my mom, dad, and sister. I only see them two days of each year. My birthday and Christmas. I'm not complaining. I'm happy living by myself in an old hotel that was still standing after the quake a few years back that flattened about everything. Before that, it was abandoned. And nothing visited except teens that wanted to party.
