It was a dark and stormy night...wait, no, it was a bright, sunny afternoon on a Thursday. The birds were singing, the Earth was spinning-everything was normal. Well, sort of normal.
In the basement of a normal looking house is a secret lab. A really scary one. It's, like, really creepy. The walls are pitch black and the machines make ear-splitting whirs and creaks. Along one wall is a row of large test tubes, filled with light blue goo. In one corner, a box is overflowing with video games: Zelda, Tomodachi Life, and many more...sheesh. It's scary even talking about it.
The owner of this lab is a 13 year old boy. He has light brown hair and blue eyes. He's wearing glasses and a shirt with the word "freeshavacadoo" in bold. He's skipped school today, and is huddled in front of a machine. It sort of looks like a microwave. The machine is humming lowly. A little screen on the machine has a timer. It's at "5" seconds.
"Finally," he croaks with a crooked smirk as the timer ticks.
"My most diabolical creation in the history of evil is COMPLETE!"
The false microwave beeps when it's timer gets to zero. The boy pushes a button and the little door on the machine swings open, dramatically, with an off-white smoke pouring out of the opening. A sweet smell fills the room.
"I've done it..." he murmurs as his smile grows wider.
The boys removes a platter from the machine and slams its door with an enthusiastic force. He then raises the plate into the air.
"THE PANAFFLE!! MWAHAHAHAHA"
On the platter is a hybrid of a pancake and a waffle. That's it. Nothing else. Just a panaffle.
Out of the darkness of a corner in the lab, a small creature with a hump on its back hobbled toward the boy.
"Master," it slurred, "you've done it!"
The creature's master turned his head slightly and glared at him.
"Lucas," the boy started, " what have I told you about interrupting my evil laughter!?"
The creature, Lucas, sighed sadly and kicked the ground with his giant shoe.
"I apologize..."
"Thank you," the boy scoffed.
After a few moments a small "ding!" is heard from across the room. A tile in the floor moves to the side to reveal a small nuke with words "Zombie Woo-Hoo" printed on the side, rising from the floor on a small platform.
"Oh, and my zombie nuke is done, too."
The boy acts as if it's no big deal.
"Cool."
