The Day Before the Announcement...(Part Two)

Jason's P.O.V

I just got to my boyfriend's house, and just thinking about my relationship with him. I feel like things aren't going anywhere, and I'm been going through a lot of things. I still love him but, now as a friend, and I don't know how to tell him. His scent is different, and isn't as intoxicating as before. My thoughts are broken just as Jay sat down in the car.
"Hey Jason," Jay said.
"Oh...Hey Jay," I stuttered.
"Um...Jason what's wrong?" he questioned.
"Uh, nothing. What are you talking about," I said." There is nothing wrong with me, okay?"
"You sure?"
"Yeah, Jay everything is okay."
"Alright lets go."
He doesn't know what is going to happen tomorrow. He'll probably hate me for the rest of his life but it had to be done.

Jay's P.O.V

What is going on with him? I know don't why he was lying me, but something is up. He was sweating slightly, and colder than usual. His heart was beating faster, and it was very hypnotic. I had to snap out of it or I'll drain him. I also smelt something sweet on him. It smelt like cinnamon, and maple mixed with his scent, which smelt of pine and spices. I was wondering where the scent was coming from. What a strange scent....hmm. It smelled familiar but I couldn't place it.
Well, now I got two things on my mind: Why is Jason acting so weird? and Why does he have another scent on him?
I know I'll probably figure it out tomorrow. I was listening to my mother's thoughts, and she said that me and Marie have to be there right away after school. I wonder why? I guess I'll ponder this during the school day.

All day during school, I was wondering what was going. When, I got out of school early, and Jason wasn't there to drive me home. When I got off of school grounds, I starting my super speed in through the forest, but stopped when I heard laughing. I was thinking about my next meal, but when I got to the edge of the clearing I couldn't believe what I saw...
